The Cabinet secretaries are damned if they do and damned if they don't. Trump can/will fire them if they don't do what he/Musk wants and then (as per Doofus' normal playbook) all the blame is on them. Musk meanwhile will still make his 'suggestions' as to what he wants and threaten to tell 'Daddy' if they don't jump to it.

They all made their pact with the devil just like Dr Faustus.

He is playing the markets as share prices spike and fall again after each idiot pronouncement.

I don't think he's going to Mars, unfortunately, because his rockets don't work! I wish he'd bugger off to live there now and take the rest of them with him.

That's just how it is with rocket science. It's where the fail fast way of working makes sense. Even as I type they will be folding the learnings from that event into the planning for the next.

However it's less useful with things that take years to measure. Like government spending.

I saw a good video from a respected scientific commentator suggesting that Bezos Big Idea (to put heavy manufacturing into space to use solar power and remove pollution) was a much better proposal.

For those who like him, I can't understand how they excuse his complete irrational and constant u-turns. I guess they think his 'unpredictability' (aka mental instability) is feature not a bug.

For the most part I've become numb to it all.. it's the only way I can cope with the absolute madness that is another 4 years of Trump and his henchmen. But every now and then my brain explodes a little.. wtf is happening? It's crazy that he got into power in the first place but if this was a normal job he would've been sacked by now with the amount of incompetence he has shown so far. I thought Boris was bad, but Trump makes him look almost strong and stable..
I reckon Russia will be putting a call through to the Oval office very soon. Putin is not gonna appreciate the u-turn.
