As a Welsh person I know a lot of David’s and Dave’s and even a few that go by Dai 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 edited to add that one of the Dave’s is a cat 🐈

At one point, I was going out with a David, my sister was with a Dafydd.
Both went by Dave 😁

My friend's cat is called Cheryl, and my aunt's dog is called Bridget, which always cracks me up for some reason.
Our daft dog is a Roger 😄

Loads of them! It was a running joke at DHs work that they only employed Dave’s.
I’m related to at least 6.
No animals though, probably because their owners would already be called Dave and that’s a bit weird.

Our largest millipede is called Dave.
