Anyone else awake?

Is so, why? I'm awake as my DH told me he wanted us to go our separate ways tonight and so I can't sleep. Have started a thread already so don't really want to bore everyone by going over it again.
Just wanted to chat.

Better today. Drained but ok. Sorry nothing else to say as need to sleep. Thank you all for your support. Some really kind people on here. Hope you all get a good night's sleep tonight.

I was so exhausted after that first night of a 10 minutes that the next night I slept right through. Didn't wake once. Managed to get through the day yesterday. Went to bed early last night but awoke early this morning (6am when I didn't to get up that early today) and stuff going over in my head and feel a bit tearful but trying to hold it together.

How are you? Did your partner apologise?

I saw your other thread, op, I'm sorry. My dh said tonight that he can't see a future for us, but hasn't actually ended it, so I've been awake since 2am crying. We've always had a problematic relationship, we've found it tough having young dc and not enough money etc. He's also a binge drinker which has ruined lots of supposedly happy events and occasions which has made me unhappy over the years and oversensitive about him popping to the pub, and has made me hate the pub when previously I loved going out and having a drink and socialising. I was a real life and soul type- now I just sit on the sofa, so not surprising it's all ended up like this.

Hi, how are you doing at the moment?
Have you managed to have a further conversation with him?

Be good to msg with you privately but don't want presume that you'd want to.

Hi, I can't remember where I am with my mn posts but it turns out it's all gone to shit the last few years as he's been hiding a gambling addiction and debts of £40K. He totally loves me but knew I'd divorce him if I found out. I'm still in complete shock and am terrified. I have a new emotion every hour. I'm not even trying to think of a long term plan yet until the shock settles.

Different situation to me apart from the shock. I'm not making any plans yet just taking it day by day until I sort my head out. The shock is gradually subsiding for me but I'm also aware that I'm putting it to the back of mind and shelving it for now. I feel more in control now but I know I'll get there. Don't know if any of that makes sense to you? I also have to look at finances but I can see for you it's a major issue and you probably don't even know where to start?
