The Angelican Catholic church has revoked Calvin Robinson's licence after that gesture action

that's a good start.

anything less only emboldens them. Fascism isn't a joke or a common sentiment. They need to be rightfully made to feel WRONG for their abhorrent views.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 30/01/2025 11:34

He's mixed race and (if Wikipedia is to he believed) describes himself as "half Afro Caribbean and half English.

We will need a diplomatic thread title. I suggest Starmer: Treading softly.

I am not above a little passive aggression.

I like this suggestion. On many fronts.

Farewell Two Jags.

That's affection btw! He did a lot of good

Agree
Bon Voyage John.

dontcallmelen · 30/01/2025 11:53

How ever he identifies he is still a wanker, glad the Anglican Church acted swiftly.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 30/01/2025 11:58

I was puzzled about what the Anglican Catholic Church is. Never heard of it before this bloke was in the news yesterday. He seems to change denominations rather rapidly...

bombastix · 30/01/2025 11:58

Starmer; Lettuce Pray

Evenstar · 30/01/2025 12:01

I believe he started training as an Anglican priest, apparently he has been through five different churches altogether

He is even worse than I thought a serial wanker
tbh I’m not sure what the Anglican Catholic Church is either

Aw.

dontcallmelen · 30/01/2025 12:14

Oh goodness bagpipes get me every time we had them played at Fils & a dear friends funeral.

BestIsWest · 30/01/2025 12:18

I’m so pleased that John Prescott’s funeral is getting the attention he deserves. Both Blair and Brown there along with Starmer. I may have a tear in my eye. He made me think of my DF in many ways.

bombastix · 30/01/2025 12:19

Can we put Prescott in the next thread title?

Hull Minster is beautiful. Agree with Best that I am pleased he is getting the send off he deserves.

SerendipityJane · 30/01/2025 12:19

I was going to save this for the next thread. But couldn't contain myself ...

Apparently the funeral cortège was made up of two jags.

That was Mae Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau on the bag pipes, wasn't it? A nod to his birthplace. Fabulous.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Cheguevarahamster · 30/01/2025 12:44

Just watched his sons speech. Very moving. Bon voyage John.

That's great that she's doing so well littledrummer - it really helps when they understand the process (training) is far more important to focus in than the outcome. The outcome comes naturally with the process goals being met!

PickAChew · 30/01/2025 12:59

Despite spending a large chunk of my childhood in Hull, I don't think I've ever been in the minster.

The two jags are just perfect. I think he would have approved ❤️

itsgettingweird · 30/01/2025 13:03

Yes Duncin - aiming for 2028 and 2032 - time will tell if he's actually good enough to make it.
Currently 11th in works for 2 best events so heading in the right direction!
