Imagine being a debutante in 2024. Seems like as much of a relic from bygone times as sending 7 year olds up chimneys. Although I'd imagine the debutante has a bit more fun than the mini chimney sweep. Is she trying land a wealthy husband from the ton?

I don’t think modern “debutante balls” have anything to do with the old sort, which ended over half a century ago.

Modern ones are just for rich Russians and Chinese to mix with impoverished Euro posh. Apple as there as part of a tie in with Vogue (and probably being paid an appearance fee). Don’t think she’s looking for a husband 😂
