And Mike Amesbury! For heaven’s sake let him get a look in, poor overlooked working class Labour hero.

Whatever happened to the true working class Labour champions? Like Tony Benn. You know, The Viscount Stansgate? Or, more up to date, Lady Nugee?

ContactNightmare · 21/11/2024 20:24

Hey hey! New thread. Cat is out so tax dodging

Willowkins · 21/11/2024 20:30

Thanks for the new thread.
Prescott was a no-nonsense guy who challenged the status quo and got things things done.
Here are some Christmas cat ornaments in lieu of cat tax.

Thank you for new thread.
Perdita looks like a cat of many opinions, some of them expressed in a sink Grin

PickAChew · 21/11/2024 20:57

Perdita is having a wash, of course!

I give you another beautiful old lady spotted in a charity shop.

Dog is sleeping so here’s a picture of Dutch skaters. My back garden looked similar yesterday.

I just knew that this thread title would get an instant sneer from a certain someone...

Cat tax attached - this is my wobbly boy.

Thank you for the new thread. No pet tax, have a rainbow instead.

Just in the interest of disclosure- I was the passenger trying to get a reasonable picture.

I know I should ignore, but this is such a
daft post.

What has the fact that a) a Labour MP has allegedly committed a crime; and b) some Labour MPs had or have titles got to do with celebrating two brilliant Labour MPs who came from very humble backgrounds?

DuncinToffee · 22/11/2024 08:32

There is so much inverse snobbery in @Rummly post.

So in his world, no one from an upper class family can care about the less well off in society and people from W/C backgrounds can't/shouldn't better themselves.

That the Governance of the UK needs to be left to former Etonians etc and we've all seen how great that has turned out over the last 14 years......

There will be incidents of wrong doing, aggression and violence in all political parties and so called classes, as we've all seen.

Great thread title by the way!!!

DuncinToffee · 22/11/2024 08:38

Man of the people, Nigel, doesn't like the new Jaguar ad and wants them to go bust.

On the other end of the scale, JRM's family reality soap will premier on DIscovery soon

And more on Reform

https://bsky.app/profile/writesbright.bsky.social/post/3lbjjp52ayk2y

Reform MP James McMurdock was jailed 18 years ago for repeatedly kicking his girlfriend, according to court docs obtained by the Times.

He previously claimed he had only pushed her, saying: “at the end of a night out together, we argued, and I pushed her. She fell over and she was hurt.”
