Three poos a day

On the back of another thread, how many times a day do you poo. I am a 1- 3 times a day girl. Some posters on thread were saying it's a once a week event. Blew my mind!

That’s awesome, if I move house I will look into this.

Are they not messy to use or does it work well?

And if you don’t mind me asking, what do you do when you are away from home?

Once every 3-4 days, always been like this.

No, they are really easy to use and leave you very fresh.

I have a portable plastic squeezy one from Boots I take with me if I know I'll need it.

Sometimes I think isn't it weird how animalistic we are.

We are Constantly eating, constantly pooing.

We get all focused on key performance indicstors and social media and work, when basically we are just animals

@TomatoSandwiches Bum guns are amazing inventions! I actually brought one back to uk from the middle east with me as no way was I going back to using just dry toilet paper. They have it right over there. I carry wipes with me when not at home.

This is a really grim thread but...I just can't stop reading 😆

I poop routinely first thing in the morning before my shower.
Occasionally miss a day or have to have another later but most of the time it's just once.

Once a day usually.

I worked with someone who only went at home, so if she went on holiday she wouldn’t poo for 2 weeks! Bananas. Once her holiday was delayed so it was 16 DAYS!

Twice a day, usually first thing and I can not wait or hold it in, then again an hour or so later. I know I have mild IBS-no pain, just an urgency to go.
I also take painkillers like Naproxen, Tramadol and Codeine which all firm you up (Codeine is the worst and nobody seems to escape it), so it does vary. I'm mostly at home so can manage. Feel for those of you who can't 😞

How can you stop yourself pooing, if you need to go?

I’ve never gone 16 days but I do not get the urge to go outside the house at all. So it’s not stopping myself going, it’s the opposite - I want to go and just….can’t!

it’s a pain on holiday because after about 3 days it gets uncomfortable but I just can’t go. Bowels are very much homebirds.

I take tramadol and forget to drink many times so happy to be going every 2-3 days once. 😭

Used to be once every 2/3/4 days. Sometimes longer 🥴

Then discovered I was intolerant to gluten and dairy. Providing I don't cheat (!), I now go once a day. Sometimes twice, and occasionally three or four times a day. Total game changer.

Minimum 3 times a day, often 5/6 times a day. This has been my norm for years and years.

1-3 times a day. If I skip 2 days as I am unwell or whatever, it's horrid!

Apparently some countries have a shelf in the toilet where people analyse their poo whem it falls there.

To check how healthy they are.

I am amazed by the numbers on this thread! I go once a day usually; anything more usually means something is a bit wrong. Is it typical to go more often and I just never knew??

Yes I'm very similar to this and completely understand how it makes things like travelling and just generally being out and about hard because the urgency to go comes quickly sometimes and is very uncomfortable.

And I better add my own contribution. Once a day, after my morning coffee. Very regular. Occasionally miss a day, and I think it's usually when I've either eaten too many eggs (binds me up) or not done any exercise/walking the day before.
