Elon musk interfered with the election

Well well well led by donkeys have put a video out and my mouth dropped elon musk took over twitter to get donald trump elected again. This video shows how he purposely shoved diff algorithm to Arab voters then to Jewish voters. He pretended to be from kamalas team and put out false misinformation on twitter.
The reason is because donald trump has promised him a job to regulate industry etc which means he will regulate himself so that's good isn't it not.
Also the billion dollar contracts he will give himself now scary world plus here the kicker him and the tech bros encouraged trump to take on vance.
Is not this interference in election illegal?
Plus all this naval gazing as to what the Democrats did wrong i think the other side cheated and this is it

Does anyone go on Twitter nowadays...ok, obviously some do (I do). But it's not influential any more.

If you think a SM platform made a difference, look at Instagram or FBk or ... Twitter was always niche and Traffic on X has plummeted since Musk too over.

I would say that twitter which is full of alot of right wing people nowadays can be yes because it influences those by algorithms must work or he wouldn't have bought it . It said in the video that he bought twitter as he said it was to political as soon as he bought it he made it political to the right

I hadn't realised the extent to which he not just bans but sues people to silence them, if they criticise his actions.

And that he rewrote the algorithm to artificially boost his own Tweets in a fit of pique, after Biden's tweet supporting a football team got more likes than Musk's tweet supporting the same team.

Yeah exactly that video made my mouth drop

I think he's been trying to stay this close >|< to the right side of legal – though IIUC a judge is still to decide whether his payments to voters were actually over the line.

But yes, any naval gazing by the Democrats (or anyone) which doesn't include this factor has a gaping hole.

He must want something from Trumps's position very badly. Wonder what?

I don’t want to. He’s revolting. Nothing that weirdo would do would surprise me, though.

An American radio commentator gave me food for thought the other day. I knew Donald wasn’t exactly the sharpest tool in the box but the commentator put it into sharp relief when he said, “they both believe they’re king of the world. There can only be one. “

It will be interesting to see how that plays out.

I saw this post on another thread:

Lots of people laughed at Musk for buying X but it’s paid off. Or as one person put it:
”Elon is such a dumbass. He spent $44 billion on Twitter and all he got was control of all 3 branches of the federal government.”

(The poster seemed quite pleased, not critical of this state of affairs.)

Yes yes, I agree about "king of the world" and being the only one.

Even their pals must be wondering how long it will last, and what the blow-up will look like... I guess they're planning to make hay while the sun shines.

MissyB1 · 10/11/2024 12:45

And the day after Trump gets elected he phones Zelensky and then forces the poor bloke to talk to Elon Musk! Yes he hands the phone to Musk, so poor Zelensky has to listen to two nutters! Bad enough that you Country has been invaded and bombs are dropping then suddenly those two are on your case 🤦‍♀️

spuddy4 · 10/11/2024 12:46

'I think the other side cheated' 😂 there's no difference in X backing Trump and most of the mainstream media such as CNN, The New York Times etc backing Harris.

Big bloody difference listen to the video as that is just stupid what you have just said. There is backing someone and actively election interfering as this video shows

Completely agree. Vance will be working on that one already. Be surprised if Trump lasts another year in post.
Though of course Vance needed Trump because he’s not personally popular with Trump supporters so again, that could be interesting.

Find it interesting in the video that elon musk and the tech bros pushed trump into taking vance shows how trump can be influenced

Anyone in awe of money is very, very easily influenced.

But Trump 'unexpectedly' won, so people are trying to figure out why.

If you are on twitter, you must have noticed that everyone is now forced to see Elon Musk's tweets on 'For You'? My timeline was full of his Trump-supporting shit and conspiracy theories, he is incredibly prolific.

With Brexit we know that paid ads were secretly targeted at people on Facebook and that these had influence. Musk bought an entire platform and targeted everybody on it.

I think Twitter likely has much more traffic that it did pre Musk- the one thing he did was pretty much open it up to everyone as you could iirc sign in via google rather than open a dedicated Twitter account. I wasn’t using it before that point.

And as for seeing Musks bs on your timeline, I would guess hes the most widely blocked person on the entire site, hence #blockMusk trending highly for months (until it mysteriously disappeared from the trending list…) I certainly did myself.
