Elon musk interfered with the election

Well well well led by donkeys have put a video out and my mouth dropped elon musk took over twitter to get donald trump elected again. This video shows how he purposely shoved diff algorithm to Arab voters then to Jewish voters. He pretended to be from kamalas team and put out false misinformation on twitter.
The reason is because donald trump has promised him a job to regulate industry etc which means he will regulate himself so that's good isn't it not.
Also the billion dollar contracts he will give himself now scary world plus here the kicker him and the tech bros encouraged trump to take on vance.
Is not this interference in election illegal?
Plus all this naval gazing as to what the Democrats did wrong i think the other side cheated and this is it

You can choose not to use X. I never go on it. No difference at all. No one forces people to use SM.

But you can choose not to watch Saturday Night Live, or whatever.

If you were on Twitter, it was rigged so that you would see pro-Trump stuff. It also wasn't a celeb endorsement, it was a barrage of propaganda. You could say the same for left wing TV, but twitter pretends to be about free speech.

It's not cheating, but claiming it's not influential is naive.

Yes, it's naive (or worse) to claim that controlling the media flow is the same as celebrity endorsement.

Rupert Murdoch deciding to throw his stable of papers behind Blair, for example, was not celebrity endorsement.

It affected the flow of facts and of commentary interpreting those facts to the electorate.

Yep. There's no point in joining X to then get annoyed the guy who owns it profits and uses the algorithms and editorial input he wants.

Choose another platform if it doesn't appeal

Trumps endorsement when he (Musk) runs for president.

Hang on before he took over it had fact checkers it was actually trying very hard to get rid of misinformation now I know you don't care because your previous posts show me you are right wing but maybe it's not right to do a Cambridge analytica on folks and actively push shite to them. He put false story about cats and dogs then boom trump picks up on it if uou think it's right to manipulate what is seen . He didn't put kamala tweets as much but he pushed through far right crap. The thing is people didn't know this this video shows everything he has done he should actively be charged with interfering in the election

I think despite his obvious and many flaws, claiming that Elon Musk must have someone behind him when he himself is behind the success of both Tesla and SpaceX is a bit of a reach. The guy clearly gets things done.

Really? He made Tesla and SpaceX all on his own? How do you know that anyway? Nobody else did anything? Musk did find venture capital - but Tesla already existed and its early success was based on the actual work done by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning. Nobody makes such successes on their own. Having money, or even being a "success" doesn't mean that there isn't a bigger game at hand - it is easy to be a puppet master if you have idiots as puppets.

Oh dear, your posts are a bit rambling and I can say you definitely don't know what I care about, but that's a strange bit of following there.

I'm not on X, I don't use it for news or at all. It's not for me and it's easy to avoid.

Are you on X?

The worrying thing for the UK is that Musk has his eye on Farage/Reform - which would obviously be catastrophic. I blocked Musk ages ago but have deleted the app this week having been on since 2011.....

Elon musk who wouldn't let Ukraine use his starlink Internet feature when needed but allowed Russia to fucking arse

SpaceX has provided Starlink to Ukraine since the Feb 2022 invasion. They originally subsidized this, but it's now funded by the US Department of Defense. Russia does NOT have access to Starlink; it was reportedly being accessed in Russia via stolen terminals but SpaceX has blocked that access.

The "refusal" by Musk was in response to a request to extend Starlink to Russian-occupied areas of Ukraine (specifically Crimea) in order to carry out a military attack there. Musk claimed that US sanctions against Russia prohibited this - which technically they did, but at the time it was believed that Biden could have overriden this.

The Pentagon has since said that if Starlink chose to operate in Crimea the US could not prevent it. It's not unusual for companies to impose greater sanctions than actually required by law, either for ethical reasons or to avoid boycotts at home. Musk has also since said that he believed at the time that Ukraine's intended action in Ukraine (sinking Russia's Black Sea fleet) could have resulted in Russia launching nuclear weapons.

Yeah, when I said the pals of Trump and Musk must be waiting for the blow-up, Putin was top of my list.

But he's particularly good at playing both sides against the middle, so he'll probably have no difficulty making each feel they're his special friend...

Trumps endorsement when he (Musk) runs for president.

Musk can't run for president: he was born in South Africa.

And even if he wasn't... People of Trump's character don't give power to people they see near equals. Even if they are bowing out themselves and there's no direct competition.

If they have any kind of power of appointment or endorsement, that personality-type always chooses someone they subconsciously feel is greatly lesser than them, a mini-me who is completely controlled by them. Someone who has never challenged them or – worse – looked more popular than them.

For Trump this will be Ivanka or another of his children.

They don't feel the need to hand on the torch to continue the bigger project... because their only project is themselves. Apres moi, le deluge.

But in the end it wasn't tight at all, was it? The polls said it was tight and yet he won every single one of those 'battleground' states.

I think this proves once again that polling isn't very good and no idea why people put any store by the polling cos - they have got it wrong again and again. Same as I don't understand why people put any faith in supposed "knowledgeable political pundits" like Rory Stewart. It is probably best to assume the opposite to what they say will happen.
