SMARTPHONE – Leave it alone, it does it with magic.
SUNDIAL – Move one house to the right.
COOKER – You’ll need a masters in Electronic Engineering, or a hammer.
CAR CLOCK – not worth it, wait six months

Has it happened yet? I wouldn't have a clue.

More - Sorry - I was trying to add a funny picture - but I can't

My car doesn’t have a clock neither does the aga (retro!)

No houses next door but could move to the field?

we tend to just argue with the pets over the time according to our phones!

boulevardofbrokendreamss · 27/10/2024 00:55

All of my things do it automatically apart from the sundial, we don't have one!

Fourcandleforkhandle · 27/10/2024 01:36

@AutumnCrow apparently happening at 2am. Just waiting for my radio Wall clock to set to new time ( actually quiet creepy when the hands move automatically and make a whirring noise especially in a dark room)

Fourcandleforkhandle · 27/10/2024 01:04

Mines just changed. Just posting to see what time it says posted..

Fourcandleforkhandle · 27/10/2024 01:05

My first post at 01:36 and later one at 01:04. Doesn't happen often.

Sodullincomparison · 27/10/2024 01:12

I’m in Northern Europe on a short break, and I’m reading this saw I went from 2.55 to 2.09 on my phone.

when I fall back asleep I’ll appreciate this extra hour

mitogoshigg · 27/10/2024 01:19

If overseas hope iPhone is correct!

Terea · 27/10/2024 01:42

If you have an oven like mine, you have to wait until it’s 12 (day or night) and turn it off at the mains, and switch it back on. That way it will be right again. And yes, I’ve read the instructions, and no, they don’t make sense!

Phones, Sky, Automatic Alarm clock, Ipad

All do themselves

Just the Cooker to do manually

mitogoshigg · 27/10/2024 01:50

@Bagpuss2022

Great thinking! Wish we had McDonald's delivery at home Grin. Though I'm loving uberTUT on holiday!

autienotnaughty · 27/10/2024 02:26

My car clock was due to be correct for the first time in six months but unfortunately the battery died a few weeks ago and it now reads about 8 hours ahead. Sigh.

Compash · 27/10/2024 02:41

Adjust cat's meal times incrementally by 10 minutes a day but still prepare to be scolded appropriately until the process is complete... 🙄😾

AInightingale · 27/10/2024 02:52

Ireland had two time zones for most of the 1940s. God, but that must have been confusing.

CalicoPusscat · 27/10/2024 03:37

It's supposed to be after 4.30am but now 3.30am? I'm not a good sleeper anyway but woke up very confused

secretrugbyfan · 27/10/2024 03:48

If you live near a stone circle, please go and visit today to appreciate how the National Trust volunteers have moved them one place to the left to accommodate the clocks going back.

I do, feeling a bit trippy with the changes so not thinking properly

BatshitCrazyWoman · 27/10/2024 04:02

After 4 and half years of living in this house, and more specifically with the built in oven and microwave, I've just changed both clocks without looking at the instructions 🙌

The hour 'extra' is no use to me, I've not slept much and have given up trying now!

Bewareofthisonetoo · 27/10/2024 04:10

I’m on holiday in a time zone one hour ahead and my (non smart) watch has been an hour because I can’t remember how to change it. So at least fit the rest on my hol it will be correct -and then not again until end if March…

This. My lot are currently hawking for breakfast because to them it feels like 5.10 am, which is nearly 6 am, the time they get it in the week when I'm up for work.

I might give in after I've had another cup of tea so I can then go back to bed in peace.

As for the clocks, the deal here is I do the ovens (piss easy only he doesn't know that) as long as he does the big clock on the kitchen wall which is an utter pain to rehang afterwards.

CalicoPusscat · 27/10/2024 04:14

I've only just realised the nicotine patches are tripping me out not the clock change. Or stonehenge 😳

Keepingittogetherstepbystep · 27/10/2024 04:17

Woke up at 2.01 been dossing about since.

Went outside to change the car clock otherwise my poor brain can't cope. 8 clicks and done.
