Just heard on the news abroad he fell from the third floor off a hotel in Buenos Aires, if true it's very sad as he was so young and seemed like a lovely guy

Oh my god this is incredibly sad. I am 25, and some of One Direction songs was the music of my youth.

My heart goes out to his son'ss, and also the members of 1D.

TMZ claim to have seen a photo of the body, with Liam's distinctive tattoos. I doubt they'd lie about this.

TMZ have posted snippets of a picture of him lying on the deck as proof 🤢 how horrific. Reports are saying he smashed his laptop in the hotel lobby and was escorted up to his room and then fell from the balcony in a drunken/intoxicated accident.

What was going on with his recent ex. I know she was talking very badly about him publicly

TMZ say it happened just under 2 hours ago. I agree that I hope his family were able to be contacted first.

As an aside, I wouldn't recommend the TMZ article. It has (cropped) pictures - nothing graphic but pretty unnecessary in my opinion.

It's so ghoulish! It's a young man who is a father and son and already photos circulating, media breaking stories before (it seems) his family were told.

The Argentinian news article states it was clear from his injuries that he couldn't be resuscitated and he had an injury to the base of the skull.

So very young. His poor family.

We shouldn't know this.
