Oasis tickets

So I didn't make the ballot so missed out on the pre sale and I'm angered that viagogo have purchased a load of pre sale tickets and are selling them for 600 quid each! It's a dream to see oasis in Manchester (my home town) and its looking very unlikely unless some miracle happens in the queue for general sale tomorrow... just ranting but please keep your fingers crossed for me

I was on gigs and tours about 10 mins ago and they’re sold out apart from single tickets up in the gods.

My friend got to the end of the queue for Wembley and can see blue dots (only few), but as soon as she clicked on them, she received the message "unfortunately, we are unable to reserve your seats now please wait a moment and try again." What does this mean? She kept trying and different blue dots keep showing up but she always received message. What shall we do? Don't want to give up as we have been in the queue for 7 hours.

Just keep trying over and over again, and hopefully someone’s payment will bounce or their session will expire and the tickets will become available. But they will likely be £400+ by now , so don’t waste your time if you’re not willing to pay that. More dates will be added in sure.

Yep this is what happened to me. I managed to get on it 4 times early this morning but it crashed. Then tried again 30 mins ago and no tickets left. I'm getting festival tix instead!

Because ticketmaster is shite and oasis aren't decent enough to want to pay £400 to watch them.

90000 is like the fully seated capacity for a football match, for concerts they have part of it blocked off for the stage. Guess for the standing area they have to limit the numbers for safety

Six hours in the queue, got to the front and nothing left that you can apparently select or check out, apart from the £347 standing ones. I'm not paying that for a band I never really cared that much about (my daughter loves them so it was for her really). Waste of a day!

Son in L just managed to get 1ticket...haven't asked how much!!!Took 5 hours of queuing!

Finally got to the front of the queue at 2.30pm. Only tickets left were £305 and up. Sorry lads, you may have been the soundtrack to my teenage years but I’m not prepared to pay that for Level 5 (aka out in the arse end of Wembley).

I’ll be on Twickets in 6 months time instead!

Anyone else get to the front of the queue (eventually), be told they’re entering the ticket master site, only to then be told their session was suspended for being a suspected bot?! Why couldn’t they just have tested I was human by asking me to click on some fire hydrants or something?!

I did this. Regret it hugely. She was not good. Although as it was the one and only time I have seen her so it at least had novelty factor. Oasis I’ve seen six times including Knebworth so have left DH and DC1 to torture themselves

Got kicked off when selecting tickets.

This was me about 40 minutes ago. They said they were sending me verification codes, which arrived about 5 minutes ago, then when I entered the codes they said I'd timed out form purchasing tickets 🙄🙄🙄

Having been on the site since before 8am today sitting in ridiculous queues, I won't be rejoining to start the process again. What a waste of time.

Got to no.1 in Ticketmaster queue and got stuck with it just buffering and kept asking me to sign in. Error 503 then back to start of first queue! So frustrating.

I think I paid £80 which was a lot back then. It was ok. I enjoyed it but seen better gigs. It kinda ticked the box.

I suspect what will happen is a lot of people will have bought four tickets for them and their mates. But mates will change minds or not pay up. So a lot of tickets will come back onto the market.

Even I am surprised at the number of people willingly paying £350+ for tickets though. It's stupid money. Who are all these people?! Even for the nostalgia thing, it's silly money.

I can well imagine there's going to be a lot of people who don't have £350 experiences on the night. I can't imagine paying that for a standing ticket right at the back and there being loads of lairy idiots ruining the experience for everyone around them. But perhaps the pricing will focus minds and those who get tickets will be better behaved but I can't see It happening. It wouldn't entirely surprise me if there were security issues with attempts to jump the fence etc at Heaton Park tbh either.

And the trouble is, that face value is no longer face value is it?!

This happened to us repeatedly, eventually it then quicker us out and made us rejoin the queue which we haven't bothered doing.

I guess you could keep trying to see if there a chance that it works but we ended up getting so pissed off with it all. The pricing is outrageous!

£350 for 'face value' (due to demand) is just pure greed.
