Oasis tickets

So I didn't make the ballot so missed out on the pre sale and I'm angered that viagogo have purchased a load of pre sale tickets and are selling them for 600 quid each! It's a dream to see oasis in Manchester (my home town) and its looking very unlikely unless some miracle happens in the queue for general sale tomorrow... just ranting but please keep your fingers crossed for me

But even if you had to buy them from
an actual shop like back in the day, tickets still wouldn’t be £20! They’d still be the same price, that’s not down to the internet…

Ticketmaster now bumped up its prices for standing at Wembley to £350 apparently due to demand! How can they do that…

Just go back to paying on the door. With cash. It would solve all these problems.

Me! I’m still not in the queue, I’ve been in the queue to get onto ticketmaster for 4 hours and have barely moved! I don’t actually see how this is humanly possible!!

Which gigs are sold out? Anyone know?

I work in events and this is the choice of the event host not Ticketmaster, ie Oasis have allowed surge pricing. For the events I work with TM it is simply switched off.

I started the queue at 85000 now at position 8000, I hope there’s some left but I can’t see it!

Because unfortunately they can charge what they like and people will pay it! This “dynamic” pricing bollocks is so wrong!

I somehow managed to get tickets after only queuing from half 8, all our friends were waiting for 5am! I went straight through and not quite sure how. My standing ticket was £152.50. Very lucky.

@TheChosenTwo i was too but came out and went via live nation and now in actual queue which is moving but I’m 361,000 in the queue.

Viagogo were selling good view tickets for £585 this morning ( Wembley )
wish I’d bought them.

I've all but given up, local pub says they'll throw a huge better than oasis party - cheaper better drinks, walking distance and free!

There are good tickets at Wembley still for less than that

Out of 15 of us, only 2 of us managed to get them. Me and my OH! I started queuing at half 8 on the whim and by 9:25 I had tickets. I was only in a queue of 2000 so I think I refreshed at the right time, when it kicked everyone out and I must've somehow pushed in. It's purely luck, I still have friends trying now!

Well done. But wait til you see the hotel prices for the nights they're there. Some hotels were charging almost £1000 per room per night when Taylor Swift was in their town/city.

And people were paying it.

we’ve been at it since 8am and have got nowhere. I’m at about 97,000 in the queue, started at 140k right back at 9ish.

I'm so annoyed, i joimed the queue at 8.30am with 102,000 ahead of me. been in the queue all day and theres still 39000 in front, that's a day i wont get back.

On the plus side, Sainsburys has (allegedly) got some half price Heinz ketchup so I might score some of that in a bit.

Stay in Glasgow. Or find a camp site out of town.

Apparantly if you use a device through a VPN it can cause issues.
Also advised to clear cookies before joining the queue.

Tried this and then got kicked out for being a suspected bot! Bloody cheek when god knows how many tickets have been bought by bloody bots 😂
