My rather splendid female spider has today eaten her mate.

I am a little sad, they have been sharing a web for the last couple of weeks, I was beginning to think they had a Understanding . But alas, today Mr spider is no more.

For reference they are not pets, rather squatters that inhabit my ceiling.

They will be teent tony and will soon leave home.

Then Mts Spider will find another.

Imagine how hard it would be to get all those legs into a babygro!

This has got me thinking... once upon a time, DH was lean and muscly and wouldn't have made a good dinner, but is probably a bit more tasty now with the unhealthy addition of middle aged spread.

So do I tuck in next week, or wait a couple of years for even more fat to marble through the meat?

I was in our loft office room building dh a chair and a massive house spider ran down the wall at me. Like actually went for me. When I told dh he said “oh yeh that’s Bruce, he is a dick but I love feeding him flies and watching him eat. He’s getting so big. He must have thought you an intruder.” 😅

Last holiday I got out of the shower to find DP sat on our balcony, breaking crisps into tiny pieces and leaving them on the wall for the colony of ants to pick up and carry the little crisps up the wall and back to their ant houses / nests (?) We almost missed dinner we were that engrossed in their efforts 😂

If your looking to eat your husbands the best way is to club him on the side of the head and put him in your freezer first. Would be good if he’s already bent over at the freezer as a body is heavy. Now you partial defrost so the cutting is easier and there you have it. Remember and sharpen those knives how 😈 😈
