How old were you when you got married?

NC'd just in case anyone can identify me with previous posts.

I was 20 when I first got married, divorced at 23 and I'm about to get married for the second time at the age of 26. For various reasons, I don't really count my first marriage as a marriage, as we were not husband and wife in any sense of the words, it was a horrific relationship to be in (for me). So I feel like I'm getting married for the first time, even though it's not technically true. How old were you when you got married?

2002 age 20. Still together

22 divorced at 36. Never again!.

30, together 10 years, and I was 32 when we split up, 37 when divorce went through.
Then I got married at 42 and still married.

7 yrs ago. 26.

Married at 28, engaged at 26, together since 19. College sweethearts. Now we are 47 and 48.

I was 27. Still married now and I am 58. In fact, two days ago was our 31st wedding anniversary. We did our usual trick of both completely forgetting about it. 🤣

I'll speak to DH in a little while when he finishes work and we'll probably get a bottle of wine for tonight. 😃

I was 17 when we got together, married at 26 so 9 years in, we've been married for 12 years now.

19 - marriage lasted 16 years, no kids, breakup was due to his OW

36 - met dh and married after a whirlwind romance, That was 20 years ago and we have 2 children, 19 and 17.

40. I'm now coming up to 55 and we're still together.

Err 44 I think. But have been with Dh since I was 19. 56 now.

21 in 1977
Divorced in 2020 After 3 years separation.

16 first time...
28 second time...
45 third time...

i guess i really like wedding cake, or i picked the wrong un's the first 2 times

28 still married now at 34. I think he's a keeper!

40 . Ancient 😃

33. We had already been together 9 years and had a child by that point.

37 and getting married in a couple months.
We already have kids and own our house

I was 19 he was 22 (1971). First child at 26, second 2 years later. He is an absolute darling!

26, and still married 18 years later.

57. And STILL married!!

I was 22. It was 33 years ago! We are still very happy 😊

Just turned 25. Been married five years now, with one child and one on the way. So far, so good, I’m quite fond of him 🤣

It was my 21st birthday, he was already 21
