How old were you when you got married?

NC'd just in case anyone can identify me with previous posts.

I was 20 when I first got married, divorced at 23 and I'm about to get married for the second time at the age of 26. For various reasons, I don't really count my first marriage as a marriage, as we were not husband and wife in any sense of the words, it was a horrific relationship to be in (for me). So I feel like I'm getting married for the first time, even though it's not technically true. How old were you when you got married?

26 by 2 days! Dh was 29. Married 25 years, together 27. Still very happy.

37, now 57 but mid divorce. We are talking again and things are looking good for us cancelling that. We have a shed load of issues to sort out but I’m hoping we can, time will tell.

my parents were 17 and 19 and still going strong for 63 years.

29 but had been together for 8 years. 16th wedding anniversary this year

Noth DH and I were 22. Have been married 50 years next month. Half a century!? 😱 Wow ...where did that go??? Surely we were young only yesterday. 🤔

I was 21. We’re coming up on our 40th anniversary.

29...14th anniversary approaching.

Age 29 first time around after six months together. Age 57 second time around after 13 years together.

39. Widowed at 47. Single since. (62 now).

I'm getting married again in 10 weeks (I'll be 42!)

We were both 22. Still married ☺️

28 but it was a week before my 29th birthday

28, in 2018. 5.5 years later and still going strong, now with a 4 yo and a 1 yo (which has tested us at times!)

29, and we’d been together 10 years by then. That was 25 years ago

31, we had been together for close to 11 years before we got married. No real reason why we waited so long, just busy doing other things like traveling.

I was 31, he was 33. Still together 23 years later

37, separated at 40, 15 years together (3 of those married).

There's very few things I regret in life, but getting married is one of them.

Got together at 23, engaged at 24, had kids at 25 and 28 then married at 30

Together at 15
Married at 22
Still Together 25 years later

I was 28, in 2022

Met at 15, got together at 20, married at 25.

Still happily married over 20 years later.

I was 19, my wife 17.

Married 47 years when my wife passed away in January.

19, 28 and 48 - third time lucky!
