Shouldn't that read 'Tory members lose their say so that Kemi Badenoch has a chance of being chosen as leader'.

These ducklings are so sorry you've all had to suffer Farage today.

The ducklings are more in number than across the three ponds near me. The ponds have about 40 ducks. There are only two ducklings in total, I was beginning to wonder if someone fed the ducks with some form of contraceptive.

Getting their ducks in a row before voting.

Note: you have to stick to the same name throughout a thread.

You used to be able to chop and change but guess that caused sock puppeting.

If you use phone and laptop, the phone won't use a new user name I find.

Rishiispushed · 29/06/2024 07:13

Unless you manually change it each time.

Which I cannot do on my phone.

Just testing, because I think you can still change within a thread...

Eta: you can! Will go back to VoteOutToHelpOut now.

Yes, if you change it manually at the top.

Et voila!

Jaysus, we're going through threads like the Tory party go through leaders and cabinet ministers.Grin

🤣

ZonderRishi · 29/06/2024 07:36

I was so disappointed by the waste of opportunity in holding Sunak to account in the MN "interview" that I've started a thread in AIBU about it. I know it's a TAAT so will get pulled but I would really like to see if anyone was influenced by such erudite questions and answers.

MrTiddlesTheCat · 29/06/2024 08:06

The app won't let me pay my cat tax.

So do I!

Stop it! Or you'll be put in detention! I can't keep up with the threads never mind the usernames. 😩

medianewbie · 29/06/2024 08:13

Just saw my local (Scottish) Council is holding a 9-2 'drop in' today for those who've still not received their postal vote ('if you still receive your form next week please return via Royal Mail').
So is Edinburgh Council. WHAT a mess!

Thanks for the new thread Duncin & as ever all contributors (even though I don’t know who is who)

I saw somewhere (can't find it now) that Starmer has said he'd resign if Labour loses the election.

Somehow I think he might just be safe.

newnamethanks · 29/06/2024 08:49

Bah! Can't get on with the name change thing, had carpal tunnel op last Wed and it's interfering with everything. So I wish you all ManyPortilloMoments and stick with newnamethanks. Soon, people, soon.

Spandauer · 29/06/2024 08:21

I am pretty sure that always happens. The leader of the losing party generally takes the hit and steps down.

Errolwasahero · 29/06/2024 09:01

Glad the thread has calmed down a bit! Would try to have a go with the name thingy but can’t think of one atm. Cat is busy decimating observing the wildlife so here’s a pose from my two replacements for the previous two who succumbed to old age (I like to think, anyway).

My brain is going to something along the lines of ‘fishi rishi’ for a new name, but I will resist!

Just checking in.

Sure it's going to be an interesting week

NoDishiForRishi · 29/06/2024 09:06

Had my third Labour leaflet through the door at 7am this morning! Not a jittery jot from the tories, Lib Dem's or Greens etc.
