The optics are appalling. Who is ever going to own up that they worked with Rishi Sunak and the Conservatives in the 2024 election campaign?

sorry, but that's tickled me. Admirable lack of ambition. Not great, just a bit better. Better at what - misogyny and racism?

I don’t think the membership thought Truss was a good idea. It didn’t fancy Sunak for some reason about which I couldn’t possibly speculate. The parliamentary party kept Mordaunt out of the final two but the membership love her because she reminds them of Thatcher. Whoever’s left to contest the leadership it’s going to be a very dirty battle.

More Reform stuff.

A few weeks ago, Reform UK endorsed(?) the TUV party in NI. They appeared together and the TUV printed their election literature with Reform references and links. Today Farage announced he's not endorsing them at all. Instead, he's going with Ian Paisley Jr and Sammy Wilson. Not the DUP as a whole party, just them two.

I'm sure you're all aware of Paisley Jr. Sammy Wilson was until recently the party whip. He was stripped of this when he opposed Donaldson's deal over Brexit.

The Conservatives have a party election broadcast going out shortly (they emailed the link to supporters earlier). At the end of the film, the voiceover asks people to search "Labour tax rises document" to find out more.

@Zonder it’s a parody account on Twitter so a joke at Reform’s expense after their candidate saying that we shouldn’t have fought the Nazis

It's a very peculiar position for Reform to take. Last week they were all over the D-Day commemorations and this week they're batting for the other side. How is it any less disrespectful than Sunak to say we'd be better off if those men hadn't bravely done what they did?

As someone who worked at a homeless charity, we were on the receiving end of some really great initiatives/funding with excellent joined up services that really made a difference to so many peoples lives. Really hope this will come to fruition.
