Fell out of bed injured my knee

Howling at these. Seriously, sat at my desk at work in tears 😂😂😂

Got a huge splinter in my bum from playing on a wooden seesaw when I was about 8. Hit in the chin by the witches hat as I misjudged how fast it was going. Playgrounds a a bit safer now.

DH dislocated his knee getting up to go to the toilet mid flight. They were talking about diverting the plane (I thought we were going to get lynched!)

Thankfully he was very brave and they managed to relocate it so we didn't have to divert.

Not the best start to a family-activity holiday!

Years ago I picked up a saucepan support on my gas hob. I'd just knocked off the gas and taken a pan of boiling potatoes off it. No idea why I did it....

Oh I miss witches hats! They were amazing fun! And those slides that were about 20ft high with no safety measures. Huge climbing frames, and swings with long chains that could go really high. All set into very hard concrete.

The slides! I’d forgotten how high they were and you just zoomed off the end and landed on the concrete. We used to sit in the cage in the top and eat black jacks and cherry lips. Do you remember those zig zag things that were like a seesaw but went backwards and forwards. Epic!

You had a cage at the top of yours? You were mollycoddled! My local one was completely open, making us just one misstep or mischievous push from the concrete and broken glass far below. 😁

Roundabouts were massive heavy things then too, impossible to stop. Apparently there were many broken ankles but not amongst anyone I knew.
