Snag Tights. Opinions?

I keep looking at them and I'm tempted but they aren't cheap. Anyone wear them or have tried and thought nah, not worth it. Wondering if they are they worth the extra pennies?

I usually buy Primark tights but I'm too fat for medium at the moment and too short for Large so thinking maybe I need to try something else for a while until I shift some weight.

They seriously think that victims of sexual violence who ask Snag to stop promoting it have a problem with "judging others" which they need to fix not only for "other people, but for [their] own happiness"?! Fuck off Snag.

And as above, the tights are poor quality and get holes super quickly, so just bad on every level.

How on earth are people washing their tights to make the seam go hard? I do mine on 40 in a mesh bag and they're fine. I have Snags going into their 6th winter.

I did mine on 30 in a mesh bag and they went horrible pretty quick.

I wash mine on 40, no mesh bag. They get tumble dried occasionally and haven't gone hard at the seams.

Interesting - could it be the laundry soap? I use bog standard Aldi non bio.

I won't buy from them ever again for all the reasons feminists have stated on this thread.

Snag are inclusive, a good proportion of their customer base are men because men enjoy wearing tights too.

Bugger all women "enjoy" wearing tights. Even the correct size of tights aren't especially comfortable or enjoyable to wear. They are a means to an end or a necessity. Not enjoyable. Snag making them in better sizes and colours helps a lot in giving you options and less it a need to pull the gusset up from your knees, but that's about it.

Why are you resurrecting a thread to tell us that men can apparently enjoy wearing tights? Are you suggesting they have a fetish?

One sells tights as an identity, the other sells tights that fit perfectly and last forever, even if you're an average female height.

You do know men wear tights for comfort, warmth and leg support? Snag recognise this and cater to their growing male customer base.

Sorry you don't think women enjoy wearing tights, maybe they are better suited to the male figure since they were designed and invented for men originally. As for the fetish thing, some men have a tights fetish, that's true, but most wear them for the reasons I've said and you would be surprised how many do, just ask any retailer. As for resurrecting a thread, it's still open isn't it? Men wear tights and always have done, you need to get over that.

I couldn't give a fig if a man is wearing tights for warmth or anything else. I've worked in theatre long enough to see plenty of men wearing whatever the hell they like, and why shouldn't they? Why shouldn't women?

What we've said is that selling a product to women using men with a fetish is a very poor marketing strategy.

They last well but don't live up to the hype - still roll down whatever size I get and when I've emailed about it I just get "you must have read our size chart wrong".

I must have about 40 pairs of their tights on the go at the moment. They last for me about 5 years. I pretty much wear tights every day. They have some gorgeous lacy tights too for nights out.

The marketing is a bit questionable, but ultimately I just want decent tights so I continue to purchase.

I tried better tights. They are, as I suspected, far too long for me. So I'll stick with snag.

The company made themselves look by foolish not so long ago, and I notice the fetishism posting has significantly.

For a business who began by targeting the female market then the plus size female market, they promptly lost their credibility by showing images to the likes of me if men getting their rocks off in the same clothing they then want me to buy. I don't wear tights but after seeing their Facebook adverts where they think men dressed as women are women, I would boycott them .
