Snag Tights. Opinions?

I keep looking at them and I'm tempted but they aren't cheap. Anyone wear them or have tried and thought nah, not worth it. Wondering if they are they worth the extra pennies?

I usually buy Primark tights but I'm too fat for medium at the moment and too short for Large so thinking maybe I need to try something else for a while until I shift some weight.

They are not very good quality and the owner is a truly horrible person. Some women (many of whom had suffered domestic abuse) objected to them selling something with "choke me" on it, and Snag put out statements saying that those who object are kink-shamers.

Snag use male fetishists to market their brand, I don't want anything to do with that.

Yep. I have never seen the term "cry bully" so clearly illustrated. The management at Snag are rotten to the core, and try to deflect valid criticism by playing the "you're hurting a female run business you meanies!!" card.

And I've never had tights develop holes in the toes as fast as the ones I had from Snag (purchased before this whole debacle of course).

I used to love them but found in recent years they changed and didn't stay up so well. I've switched to Better Tights which I think are super. I am tall and struggle with ordinary shop bought tights all being too short.

I love them. Good quality, I've found the sizing consistent and the only ones I've lost have been attacked by cats. They wash well - I put them in a little mesh wash bag and air dry them - and I still have 7 out of my original 9 pairs. I have zero issues with men wearing them.

I've looked at Better Tights - they just don't have the range of colours and prints I want.

I googled it and the top result is an advert: "Snag Tights are Better Tights" 😒 which I am sure didn't use to be their tagline?!

I did find the real Better Tights further down and will have a browse. Thanks for the recommendation.

I totally agree. I used to live in them, bought some a while ago and was shocked at how different they were. I contacted their customer service, having fallen for the “we’re a family” stuff, and they flat out denied that there was any difference. Total bollocks! So I still have some 5+ years old pairs but my newer ones have all gone to holes. I buy from Better and Popsy now.

I wear shaping tights with high denier which they dont seem to do.

I also refuse to even consider them after their public support for choking women.

There are better (and cheaper) tights out there.

I liked my snag ones but had to buy emergency tights when staying with my parents (forgot to pack them) a couple of years ago and now I’m loving John Lewis tights. Absolutely brilliant.

Snag claimed you could wear your usual size throughout pregnancy because they were so stretchy. This was incorrect.

I don't like them because of the seam that runs right down the middle of your tummy. After a wash or two it went rock hard and lumpy and was clearly visible through clothes. I only wear seamless tights now, but they're not always easy to find (cheaply).

I find Snag tights massively over rated - expensive and pretty shoddy quality. Though I do quite like their chub rub shorts, so not a total hater.
I found they developed holes really quickly, when I’ve still got opaque tights I’ve had for years that have never developed a hole.
I also find that they rub at the inner thighs and wear thin, again never an issue I’ve had with any other tights.

Won't touch them with your bargepole. They cater for fetishists. I'd have thought that middle aged well off women would be a more lucrative market but apparently not.

I like autograph velvet touch opaques. Last forever. Cheaper than snag.
