Snag Tights. Opinions?

I keep looking at them and I'm tempted but they aren't cheap. Anyone wear them or have tried and thought nah, not worth it. Wondering if they are they worth the extra pennies?

I usually buy Primark tights but I'm too fat for medium at the moment and too short for Large so thinking maybe I need to try something else for a while until I shift some weight.

What height are you? I’m five one and they fit perfectly. Last much longer too.

I'm also 5ft 1. But fat. According to their size chart I'd need the same size at this height and 6ft tall.
I also have really short legs, even for a short person.

I suspect they might be OK if I were thin.

I bought three pairs and chub rub shorts about 10 years ago and they’re still going strong. Don’t think I’d buy them now, for the same reasons pp have mentioned. I only bought 80 denier to go with short skirts and long boots.

BrainFrog · 25/01/2025 17:08

I don't rate them - I had a few pairs and found them overly tight and shiny.

I’m a size 12 so not thin - but not fat. It’s not just the size though, Better are a better quality.

Fair enough. My better tights snagged the first time I wore them which was annoying! That's the zip on my boots though, not a reflection of quality necessarily.

I'll stick to snag as they fit. Might try better again when I've lost some weight. I had the same issue with Popsy, too long in the leg but my mum who is taller and thinner loves them.

ChopstickNovice · 25/01/2025 17:45

Love them, they last well and fit well. They do ladder eventually but seem to last way longer that my M&s/ John lewis ones.

Absolutely, they champion women and men to wear whatever they like. Freedom of expression for everyone, I applaud that. 👋👋👋

Any company that calls women who are against the promotion of choking as a sex act "bullies" is not inclusive.

Exactly that. They need to focus on improving their tights and moving away from choking and cum sluts - none of which has anything to do with the product they’re selling.

Thar was the old snag. The new ones are rubbish quality in comparison (their sad wannabe edgy fetish shit aside)

RedPandaFluff · 29/01/2025 20:06

I'm wondering if the quality issues were a Covid thing. I had Snags pre-Covid and they were amazing. Then during 2020 I received an email asking for an upfront payment in exchange for a voucher to use at a later date, as they were having cash flow issues. The tights I bought several months later were garbage. I tried again about a year later - still rubbish. Perhaps they switched to a cheaper supplier to survive a tough time?

BoredZelda · 29/01/2025 20:28

Love then. So comfy, don't roll down.

But too pricey for me to buy regularly

pointythings · 29/01/2025 20:36

I haven't had any problems at all with my newer Snags. Maybe it's because I only wear 80 denier and above (I always have done), but they're as good as they ever were - my cats haven't managed to make a ladder in any yet.

And I had a look at the Better Tights site but their range of colours is pathetic. They're barely better than the 'fat people should only wear brown, black and grey' brigade.

MotherOfVizslas · 29/01/2025 20:44

I love them because they're really comfy and mine have lasted years so far!
