Snag Tights. Opinions?

I keep looking at them and I'm tempted but they aren't cheap. Anyone wear them or have tried and thought nah, not worth it. Wondering if they are they worth the extra pennies?

I usually buy Primark tights but I'm too fat for medium at the moment and too short for Large so thinking maybe I need to try something else for a while until I shift some weight.

I bought the size that should have been perfect for my height and weight but they sagged really badly around my ankles. A total waste of money.

I think the tights from when they started out were good quality but my toes have gone through all my recent pairs on the first day I wore them - and I don't have snaggy toenails; I thought that must have been the issue with the first couple of pairs but no matter what I did, it kept happening.

Even if this didn't put me off, the recent marketing posts have. Funnily enough, I'm against women being strangled.

Following for ideas.

I do like snag ones but won't buy them anymore for ethics.

Ive tried better tights but they don't seem as "tight" maybe I need to size down.

Can't wear mainstream tights as they just roll down over my (large) tummy!

Leaving aside their fucking grim fetish marketing aimed at god knows who I don’t rate them - Better Tights are cheaper, fit really well and are higher quality imo.

Second better tights. Was a snag enthusiast but following their marketing mess I've switched. Better tights sag a bit and I get bunching round the ankles which I never did with snag but they are ok!

I bought some chin rub shorts, really didn't like the material and their marketing / morals are fucked so it's a no from me.

Highly recommended Better tights, was a firm customer of Snag until their marketing and quality standards dropped.

Better Tights are a simple straightforward company to deal with.

Big Snag fan here, their clothing is nice too!

I love mine. They are the only brand I have found that cater to short and fat at the a sme time.

Love them. They fit really well and last bloody ages. Definitely worth the money. Been buying them regularly for years and will never get my tights anywhere else.

I bought some pre-poor advertising but found them a big saggy - they didn't seem any better than my M&S ones which I also don't rate!

Might try the Better ones on people's recommendations.

I won't buy from them ever again because of their grim attitude towards women. Funnily enough I don't want to buy from a company that thinks 'CumSlut' is an empowering image for women. I value myself slightly higher than that.

Mumsnet hate them. I love them though, I only buy standard black tights and the fit are brilliant, never roll down or sag. So comfy and wash well

The quality has gone well downhill. No longer seems designed well around the thigh or ankle area. I don't know if they changed patterns or material, but they suck.

Have not found a good alternative so back to leggings from Lidl for now. Which are at least cheap

Sorry to resurrect a zombie, oops. Just googled to see if other people thought Snag had gone down in quality. I'll see myself out.

They are great tights. Sooo comfortable and last ages. I got some that are 4 years old. Wear tights to work every day. I too won't be giving them.my money any more. I've tried Better Tights, they are ok.

I agree. My original snags from pre Covid are better than the once I bought last year. Which is a real shame as no where else does tights with shorter legs.
