We gift people chocolate, why not crisps?!

Was thinking earlier how I'd bloody love a selection box of lovely crisps as a present. You know, nice posh ones you wouldn't normally buy yourself.

I may start it off 😂

We got BIL a snacking selection box from Serious Pig a few years ago. He still speaks of it fondly...

I'd so much rather have crisps and savoury snacks that yukky chocolate.

I have definitely found my tribe. Wheat Crunchies are amazing, as are Frazzles. I'm also quite keen on Lidl's sour cream and chive chipsticks.

A box full of American and Japanese savoury snacks is one of my go to gifts for DH. The more unusual and the spicier the flavour the better. This year he has some (apparently) really spicy crisps and a load of freeze dried sweets.

I'm crisp mad and when I broke my arm a few years ago, my best friend and her mum sent me a bouquet of crisps! 😍😁

I'd love a Crisps box! DS2 and I love salty snacks. In fact when DH and I go RVing one of DS2's favourite 'souvenirs' is to seek out 'local' crisps and bring bags home for him. It's amazing how many regional flavours (not available in other areas/states) and small crisp companies there are here in the US.

I'm not much of a lover of crisps, or chocolate. A few years ago, I did get one of my nieces some tubes of Pringles, which she's not allowed to have, normally.

Brilliant idea, manufacturers are missing a trick! You can get drums of cheddars and twiglets at Xmas neitherof which taste as good as they used to but no others🤷

This makes me giggle, my lovely mum who's sadly no longer here was always skint and she brought my husband a big bag of pigs in blanket flavour crisps and a bottle of beer one Christmas.

My husband said it was a great present and still fondly remembers it.

Tayto crisps in Ireland launched a special limited flavour a few years ago - fizzy cola bottle flavour. Absolutely disgusting. Great idea though, who says crisps have to be savoury?

I have found my people! The only thing one of my teen DCs asks for every year is Pringles, we have got a shoe box that holds 4 tubes exactly and gets put away with the stockings every year. We tried the advent calendar once but she doesn't like the BBQ ones so asked for separate tubes the year after.

So glad about the pub Scampi Fries card mention, I had meant to order one for DH but forgotten, done it now. I have already bought him a box of 6 different flavoured pork scratchings.

Oh and I had some lovely truffle
crisps from Waitrose the other day.
