Things people do that make you cringe?

People posting photos of their holiday on social media with a caption like “this is how my Monday morning is looking”. Like calm down Joanne, you’ll be back in the office by next Monday.

Middle management telling me they pay my wages.

People thinking that are different and edgy because they wear Dr Martens (I do still love the boots though)

People who don't indicate at roundabouts...
Dps who narrate their trip out to their dc...
Dc who aren't strapped in the buggy properly.
Ddogs hanging out of car windows... mate if it falls out it will land either on my windscreen or under my car...
Grown ups who drink squash...

When men wear really tight trousers.

Edited

Other extreme, men wearing tatty, grubby joggers with bollocks flapping. Tradesmen are dreadful for this. One had a shaped patch over the nethers it looked like a floppy cod piece. Gross.

This will cause uproar on here but people that eat their way around the supermarket and dump the empty sandwich wrapper and half drunk Innocent Smoothie container on the check out.

Nobody is that ‘starving’ or near collapse that they can’t pay first.

Cringeworthy and uncouth.

It annoys me (and I even get annoyed at myself for letting it annoy me so much).

People who say ‘brought’ instead of ‘bought’ 😬

RunnerP · 10/11/2023 20:10

People saying ‘do you know what I mean?’ multiple times in a conversation

AllProperTeaIsTheft · 10/11/2023 20:12

People who get excitably irritated by perfectly normal things other people do, and those who 'retch' at anything that's not squeaky clean.

Why on earth would someone commenting that their Monday on holiday looked nice need to calm down? Confused Surely it would be odd not to be really glad to be on holiday rather than at work on a Monday morning?

Filing of nails on trains or any other public place

@TheShellBeach
Children shouldn't be standing in shopping trolleys full stop.

Witnessed a child toppling a trolley over once. with a baby strapped in the baby bit.
The screaming, panic and hysteria was awful.
Ambulance was called.

Utterly stupid.

And yes, who wants pooy and muddy trolleys when they put their food in?

Stupid, lazy parenting.

Men in uncomfortably tight looking trousers teamed with loafers and no socks.
People who clearly rate themselves and are constantly looking around to see if anyone has noticed them.
