So sorry for the delay. I know I promised I'd do another thread after dinner last night.
Then sort of had second thoughts as some posters started commenting on my previous thread that I was enjoying the drama, then tattle started getting involved etc etc.

I have been blocked on social media, as well as family and friends. We've all been turfed out but who cares. I have my lovely shoes back.

Letter was sent signed for today.
Hopefully she receives it tomorrow!

A happy ending (and £300 odd short) but that's what I'm aiming to get back now.

It's from a series of skits on Tiktok. The creator's name is Luke Hamnett and he plays the long-suffering mum of someone called Matthew

I only have one pair of LouBou’s and wear them occasionally.

However, I saw what looked like an Eastern European possibly Russian Instagrammer woman the other week (6pm time), dressed up in a short black dress, with what looked like the very high heel version of LouBous, walking back and forth and around and looking very glam, in the middle of a push button crossing at a busy road junction in the area where I live being filmed and photographed by a friend. I mean if she could wear and walk in them then props to her but I was more shocked by the location she was using (not that glam to me!).

I’ve actually gone off that style (the main black shoe red sole) LouBou now anyway.

My most comfortable heels are the Michael Kors platform 7inch ones. I have worn those all evening, whereas the ones I have from the likes of M&S and Next are not as comfortable even if they are several inches lower.

Women who can walk in heels that high amaze me. I love the shoes but I'd break my neck if I tried to wear them. I don't know how you do it. I fall over in thick socks 😁

I've never been able to either - it's a skill! I've always worn flats.

I agree about not being able to walk (or stand) in them. Danger-money would be required (for myself and those about me.)

I imagine that (unlike me) you are very cat-like willowy and poised though!

These are the sort of shoes I'll want when I'm arthritic/wheel-chair bound. I'll enjoy looking at them very much and won't need to take a step in them. For now I'll stick with my sea-boots :)

The heels are just as high as the (NOT designer) ones we used to wear to go out disco dancing in the 70s. If I tried to wear heels that high now I'd fall and break a hip!
