So sorry for the delay. I know I promised I'd do another thread after dinner last night.
Then sort of had second thoughts as some posters started commenting on my previous thread that I was enjoying the drama, then tattle started getting involved etc etc.

I have been blocked on social media, as well as family and friends. We've all been turfed out but who cares. I have my lovely shoes back.

Letter was sent signed for today.
Hopefully she receives it tomorrow!

A happy ending (and £300 odd short) but that's what I'm aiming to get back now.

I have to say that I am used to seeing many copies of shoes and to me these don't look real. The join of the heel and the body is far too untidy and the sole doesn't look right either. This is also why I asked earlier if they had been reheeled.

They are real, I have the authentication for them. There was a gift receipt with them too.
They're also a different style to those shoes too. Same colour, different shoe.
She may have had them reheeled or done a shoddy job herself but I haven't reheeled them.

But they are definitely real.

A pawn shop wouldn't know this. They actually employ experts in places these shoes are sold and made to identify them. I have a friend who is one of these for LV.

I've got them back with box, dust bags and everything else that was in the box, thank goodness!

I don't know how much shoe owes everyone specifically, but she owes a few of us a few hundred pounds (not including the outstanding balance with me)

DM, she doesn't owe any money to, but DM I know has helped her in the past with the odd bit of money / vouchers etc.

CF DS owes my brother an outstanding phone bill that DB paid, not sure on the amount.

My mum actually said to me a few years back that she was starting to think that somethings not right. But she couldn't put her finger on it. I wish I saw what she saw then, even if I couldn't put my finger on it myself. My friend who I saw a couple of days ago said they started to get concerns too, as things started to not add up and stories were changing. But I think everyone was too scared to accuse her of something when she had 'been through so much turmoil'. It's awkward ground when you don't have much to go by.

This whole shoesgate has really done me and us all a favour, as it's all come out the woodwork now and there's absolutely no going back, from any of us.

I'm not trying to offend you @IDontCareMatthewImSpeakingToRachel but there are all kinds of "authentic" receipts from the kind that comes with the product to eg Selfridges receipts that people use to trick others. I used to be on a group where people tried regularly to flog dupes. If you love your shoes though that is what matters.

There's a pair for sale on Vinted with same carpet as the ones in your photo but that was uploaded a year ago.

The seller wants £300.

I’ve had friends who’ve bought eg a limited edition pair of say Gina shoes and of course that’s why they there’s a slight difference in these shoes compared to standard CL’s.

I’m not sure what your DB wants to do about the phone bill from her DS but I’d do as you’re doing and just ignore her going forward. Interesting your DM thought something was up. My own DM thought something similar with a friend I always helped out lending money to etc and then it went wrong.

They are definitely real. My brother has sent me proof of purchase (bank statement) which marries up with what's on the gift receipt in the same department store in london.

He sent me this in case it helped me in anyway get some money back.
