Lol at rapid support. They have met the DfE haven’t they.

DuncinToffee · 05/09/2023 11:25

Birmingham is a Labour led council so I expect it will be used soon as whataboutery.

Islington? Are you sure that was the best example Douglas?

That article is like a pastiche of Tory journalism. The Telegraph is coming very close to jumping the shark.

Written whilst living in New York.

RafaistheKingofClay · 05/09/2023 13:51

Which would explain his lack of knowledge of diversity in Islington.

This is quite a publicity campaign for the Tories to hand to labour. Add and surrounded by shit to it and they don’t need much else.

I shouldn't laugh, but at this point I would be unsurprised if they actually tried this.

Most schools are indeed unaffected, but it only takes one to collapse during school assembly to be utterly catastrophic, you insufferable, arrogant turnip.

Oh FFS. 3 water companies admit to illegally dumping sewage on dry days. The others were all able to respond because they were already under criminal investigation by the Environment Agency.

At this point you have to find humour where you can because other wise the despondency would kill you. (If the sewage, school/hospital and whatever version of austerity we are on don’t get you first.)

Notonthestairs · 05/09/2023 14:49

Education Secretary Gillian Keegan tells @theJeremyVine that headteachers who have not yet responded to a government survey on whether their schools are affected by crumbling concrete should “get off their backsides”.

She's trawling now - determined to stir up trouble for HT. Sickening.

But I'd rather like to convert my garage. Think my local headteacher would be prepared to come and give it the once over?

RafaistheKingofClay · 05/09/2023 16:07

Could they not just get the reception kids to do it with tools from the construction area?

RafaistheKingofClay · 05/09/2023 16:08

Although tbf this wall doesn’t look at that stable.

Yes our school is unaffected.

Doesn't mean I'm celebrating.

Because I know education colleagues and pupils up and down Britain are

30p Lee’s at it as well.

I can't help but wonder what horrors the military estate contains.

The appauling state of militiary housing is well documented in the newspaper I take, but what of the rest of the buildings?

OP posts:
DuncinToffee · 05/09/2023 18:22

Oh

Tests are being carried out to determine if RAAC is present in the Houses of Parliament

Surveyors are currently investigating if it’s used in any part of the parliamentary estate
