All I've heard on BBC news reports today is "Rishi Sunak says the expansion will hit working families hardest while Sadiq Khan says it is necessary to reduce deaths from air pollution". Completely neglecting to mention THE CONSERVATIVES are in power and Grant Shapps as transport Secretary demanded this.

Housebuilders have now risen to the top of the FTSE100 following the announcement they no longer have to pay for the pollution they cause.

Barratt Developments' share price up 3.43% this morning company now valued at £4.34bn and Taylor Wimpey up 2.88% company valued at £3.97bn.

This is why I voted to leave the EU.

I was diverted by a question on Only Connect last night on mergers. In 1940, the beloved Churchill apparently proposed a merger of the UK and France!

I voted to leave because the EU forced us to change the name of a Marathon to Snickers.

I saw that and it made me laugh

Given I have just got off a train owned by the French government and then paid my electric bill to the French government, I am not sure it hasn't already happened?

Or that the government was the one responsible for plunging millions of families into poverty in the first place.
