I live in a flat Silkie with a fancy microwave, that's also a grill and an oven, all in one. That's it 😅. Hung around a lot of farms though when younger.

Today I am mostly late. Sigh.

Don't even want to put the TV on incase I don't hear him knock ....
Which is ridiculous as I can hear ds knocking at night when he has forgotten keys and I have headphones on watching the TV 😂.!

Love the red cooker/stove .

My kitchen has red accessories so would be lovely here.

Alas ...that will never happen!

I was looking into those air fryers ...but I haven't found a red one yet , so that has helped curb my spending 😂!

@CurlewKate That sounds interesting. How are you making it? I've never baked with vanilla pods , but think if I do I will use the left-over pods to make vanilla sugar.

Today I started unpacking my winter clothes. It is definitely time to start wearing thermals again.

And keep them .. handy?

There will be no heatwave next year as I have just bought desk air fans for the dc's for their Christmas presents .

@Mumtobabyhavoc Apparently it's just soaking vanilla beans in vodka for 3 months! I'm hoping it'll make good stocking presents in pretty bottles.....

Helena, have you name changed? I won't get the fall clothes out for another few weeks, at least.

The annual exam went fine. I've even lost nine pounds! 😀The lab at that location closed at 4:30, so I missed getting the blood draws done there. The same practice has an office closer to me where the lab stays open until 530, so I stopped there on my way home from work tonight.

Wonders idly what a vanilla actually is and how curlew is going to extract what from it. I buy vanilla extract in bottles but have never given any more thoughts to it. It's like myrrh, long division, the vacuum of space in the universe and the meaning of life - utterly unfathomable.

I had mashed potatoes for tea tonight, with spinach croquettes and green beans.

Havoc has put three plastic toy ducks into the space behind the lower panel of the dishwasher. I have fished them out 3x today. Needed to use a long carving fork to reach them. 🤦‍♀️
A few days ago I left Havoc briefly on the potty while I put a dirty diaper in the garbage. Heard laughing. Returned to find day's supply of diapers in the bathtub and Havoc, still on potty, pumping Moroccan Oil shampoo onto the floor.
Wondering how difficult it would be to legally change dc's name to "Havoc."

DC is certainly living up to the name Havoc and thanks for the plant pic, so now I know, I guess it was one of those things I just never thought about despite eating it.

Havoc, my DD was like that. Her nickname was "DD of Mass Destruction". One time she decided to unload the contents of every drawer in the kitchen onto the floor. She outgrew that stage pretty quickly, thank goodness.

I'm slowly getting used to DD being off at uni. I accidentally took out four plates for dinner last night.
