I really hope they sort things for your DS Silkie. Your DS is lucky having you fight his corner all the way. It must be part of why you are so tired you have been through a lot!

School is out for us too here. I’m excited to have a slower pace for a while. I am so much happier though than I was 12 months ago because of my change in work.

I need to ( when ds is in nursery or napping ) spend time cleaning and sorting the house but for now for today I plan on doing not a lot!

We've got covid. Again. 3rd time this year.

Had just been feeling better for about 4 days when I started coughing on Tuesday. It got steadily worse. Tested yesterday and it's positive. Been up with Havoc past half hour who must have sore throat and is very hoarse and feverish and starting to cough. Last bout took 10 weeks. I could cry.

Oh mum, how rotten, and when you’ve been feeling ill for so long too ☹️ I hope it passes over quickly for you both.

I’m out having a leisurely coffee at our favourite little coffee place while DH is away. A week of getting essential stuff done stretches ahead. He’s got the car so I can only go as far as my legs can take me. Planning on trying to do some sorely-needed tidying, organising and gentle gardening. I’m also taking my first tentative steps into making sourdough bread and my starter is bubbling away productively as I speak…

Gave Havoc tylenol and 100ml water then wanted milk and drank 150ml. Handed me empty bottle, sweetly said Thank you, and is now asleep. 🥰

We're in Wales in the van. DS sent this photo of a bird of prey (no idea what it is, I'm rubbish at knowing birds) in our back garden, eating a pigeon.

feeling quite rough here but made sweet potato curry ( very mild) for tea it was yummy

I didn’t really have the energy for it either Lemons but the guests arrived at 10am this morning so I needed to get it done. Been on a family outing today and have another family party tomorrow.

We’re coming to Wales for our summer holiday later next month, fingers crossed the weather picks up a bit!

We're in Barmouth Lemons I was brave and had a sea swim. Just 10 minutes as I felt guilty about DH waiting on the beach getting as wet as me, sea rough but I love it so much.

Helena I think I remember having as much energy as you, a long time ago

Barmouth is beautiful. DC1 and I did the Mawddach Trail a few years ago now, finishing in an amazing cafe in Dolgellau for tea and cake.

We’re going to Pembrokeshire this time.

Beautiful photo! Barmouth and all that neck of the hills is so beautiful. Very fond memories of Porthmadog and Gwynedd generally.

Nothing too earth shattering going on here this weekend. We had a lovely homemade lasagne with veg which had some of yesterday and some today. Floof was not impressed.

Floof has been trilly as usual and playful.

Done some gardening so green bin is full for tomorrow. Done some of the accounts. Done some hoovering.

Can I join in? I'm in Australia. Took my little dog walking and we stopped here to enjoy the view.
We had a big hail storm this afternoon and after a warm day it's turned nice and chilly. It's night time here, after dinner I watched What's Eating Gilbert Grape that I borrowed from the library and I really enjoyed it.

This is my gorgeous little guy.
