I have a question that has bothered me all morning. If the earth is a disc then why is it nighttime in Australia right now?

If they're just on a different part of the same disc surely they would see the same sun as I do?

I have found this which appears to be the most popular solution offered by flat earthers but it still makes no sense. It would only work if the earth was a dome, not flat, or else we would all just see a circling ball of light all the time.

NB: I may be procrastinating because I have a lawn to mow and a drain to unblock.

If the Earth is flat, how come all the arseholes on TikTok aren't filming themselves next to the edge? And where are the lawyers, suing on behalf of the families of the fuckwit TikTokkers who've toppled off the edge doing a duck faced selfie with their arses sticking out?

There are people who believe this because in the bible it says "the four corners of the earth" and a sphere doesn't have corners......I kid you not.

I wonder how flat earthers explain the stages of the moon cycle, what with it being due to light being reflected. I mean how can it be curved, if the surface of the moon is flat too?!!

Mooon phases can be easily explained by lighting special effects. There's really no point arguing, because they have no intention of believing. You could take them up in a rocket and orbit the globe - and they'd say you hypnotised them. You can only follow Mark Twain's advice.

Just remembered, my colleague says one proof that it's flat is you can see the moon during the day even if the sun is shining. 😉 I couldn't be bothered. 🙄

Personally I think both Round Earthers and Flat Earthers are correct.

In fact the Earth is made of a little bit of round and flat. It is mostly round, but has one flat corner. This is because the flat, right-angled corner is the way we all go to heaven. Lift the corner......
