Watching Rick Astley afternoon set again, it's SO joyful, I hope it stays up on the iPlayer forever! I'm going to watch it whenever I feel down as I know it will cheer me up!😁😁😁

I watched Texas this afternoon and loved it, I'd forgotten what a fantastic band they are and amazing singer Sharleen is.

Also watched Fatboy Slims set, that gave me proper 90s nostalgia and I had a little rave in my living room 😁

If anyone's missing the eig hties, this is brilliant!😁

I've booked to see him at the Albert Hall in November (actually booked because The Feeling are support and I love them), I'm quite hoping that he drops a few Smiths songs into the setlist.

I knew nothing about them and walked past the other stage while they were playing and absolutely loved it. LOVE Glastonbury for those random discoveries. And Elton was brilliant. Cried a few times, full on goosebumps others. The singalong in the crowd was amazing, as were the fireworks. Take me back!

For the Gn’R fans on these threads. I’m off to see them tonight in Hyde Park. Very excited! 🤘🏻🤘🏻

There is an Elton John concert on just now on BBC 4 from 1977 if anyone is wanting another Elton fix! Says it's not been broadcast since then.

Aah, that’s Ray Cooper, been with EJ for around 40 years.

saw EJ’s final yellowbrick road tour UK concert 2 weekends ago and never expected to enjoy it so much.
Consummate performer - scheduled for 7.15pm he took the stage at 7.14 (Beyonce, take note!)
his band was amazing - average age must have been around 70!

Ray was a joy to watch and he was particularly good on one song that I can’t recall hearing before, Levon. OUT OF THIS WORLD!

I put it on after Gogglebox and it's still going. A very long concert!
