Really pleased there wasn’t a George hologram. Not sure I could take it 😭. I’m sure I read Elton saying he had fallen out with George before he died, very sad.

I feel bereft now, need some v feel good act to compensate for that.

What a way to go out of that is his last uk show. I cried.

I loved it.. Saw EJ in 2004 at Ipswich... An unknown James Blunt was the support act and I was bloody furious as the rest of the tour was the Scissor Sisters!!

Elton really is the last of an era isn’t he? The type of act that granny’s know all the words to, parents know all the words to and even kids know all the words to.

we literally know the lyrics to any song by Elton, queen and the Beatles almost as if it’s in our DNA. I honestly don’t think there will ever be anyone again with that quality back catalogue

Ah, that was great. I never expected to like it so much. You forget how many great songs he did. We can forgive him going a bit pub singer at times, I think. Bet his kids are so proud!
