True story. My parents went to that. I was at home sitting in my back garden and it was before Portman road sorted out the sound proofing and acoustics. The wind was blowing in the right direction and I could hear the every part of the concert from my garden

That was a great set and end to the festival. Fab crowd and Elton was awesome! Really enjoyed it!

Well that was very moving.. what a way to finish a stunning show.

Brandon Flowers morphing into Jim Carrey was a bit of a shock. And I would have loved Kiki Dee.

Was a bit worried about Elton's hip though, he was definitely struggling a bit to walk.

It's been emotional at times for me. As someone said earlier in the thread, will we ever have the likes of these amazing acts again? Such a vast back catalogue of hits that unites all generations.
