Taylor Swift tickets help!

Tickets4teen · 08/06/2023 22:34

My DD (14) is a massive Taylor fan. She is very excited at the thought of her touring UK and is desperate to see her. I've told her it was be very difficult to get tickets and sites will probably crash/sell out in minutes as they did in USA. I'm trying to manage her expectations but DD gets very upset when I say this! We've had a difficult couple of years (divorce and a bereavement) and I really would love to be able to take her. I've signed up to Taylor's websites for notifications, but does anyone have any hints/tips on other ways to help get a ticket.... priority websites etc?! Thanks in advance!

Do you have to be a member for the hospitality tickets? At any of the locations?

At Anfield you have to register as a supporter - they do it for you on the call. Not sure about the other places

Ok Im still not sure how ringing up for tickets works.

Do you wait until 2pm on the dot? Do you start before 2?

It's trial and error I'm afraid

Ring too early you might find they haven't opened and you need to dial again.

Not quick enough and it's squeaky bum

Actual luck sadly

Can you get the tickets online or do you need to ring up?

Depends on the type of ticket you want and how the venue is organising sales.

PurpleWalls · 23/06/2023 09:58

Ah ok, thank you. It's just a waiting game now I guess...

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 23/06/2023 10:07

The majority of sales will be a scrum on Ticketmaster

HidingInAForest · 23/06/2023 18:00

So - do we know what percentage will go to the presale peope (midnight?) Is there a limited amount of presale tickets availabe or could they potentially a go?

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 23/06/2023 18:03

There's POTENTIAL for a presale sellout, yes. Hope not for myself

Harrythehappypig · 23/06/2023 18:10

Do you have to be over 18 for hospitality tickets? Or is being with someone over 18 enough?

PurpleWalls · 23/06/2023 18:47

When does the presale happen for the people that bought the CD?

You'll get a code by the 7th of July and tickets go on sale -

London - Monday 10th July at 10am BST
Edinburgh & Dublin - Tuesday 11th July at 10am BST
Liverpool & Cardiff - Wednesday 12th July at 10am BST

From the presale email 😊

PurpleWalls · 23/06/2023 18:51

Thank you 😊

I enquired about Hospitality at Wembley and was told that my 15 and 17 year olds would be okay. Just waiting for Wembley hospitality to be released.

HidingInAForest · 23/06/2023 19:36

Do we know anything about ticket costs?! How can they not tell us before they go on sale?!

If it's going dynamic pricing then they may not know

Dynamic prices May out price most people

My guess is lowest price £80

HidingInAForest · 23/06/2023 19:54

So dynamic pricing.

Does it start high and get higher?

Start at 80 and is then 100 a minute later?

I dont really understand.

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 23/06/2023 19:59

I've yet to experience the joys of dynamic pricing but I believe you are sat in the queue and watch the lowest price rise in front of you based on the numbers of people fighting for them

Yay

Whether this is just a US thing and we don't have it yet I'm not wholly certain.

practicepracticepractice · 05/07/2023 12:56

Has anyone got an email from a Ticketmaster yet?

TokyoSushi · 05/07/2023 13:10

Nope...

Dynamic pricing is disgusting, I would genuinely rather give my money to ticket touts who at least have had to put some effort into getting the tickets to sell them at obnoxious prices rather than hand the money over to Ticketmaster.

When I’ve seen it before, it just shows you the lowest dynamic price and so £50 face value tickets are just available at £200 and you either buy them for that or don’t.

chopc · 05/07/2023 15:58

Nope - have been refreshing all day. I had 10am
In my mind for some reason

Mummyme87 · 05/07/2023 16:15

JustLurkingAway · 05/07/2023 16:17

European countries 1hr ahead have started receiving theirs at 5pm so we should get something here at 5!
