Taylor Swift tickets help!

My DD (14) is a massive Taylor fan. She is very excited at the thought of her touring UK and is desperate to see her. I've told her it was be very difficult to get tickets and sites will probably crash/sell out in minutes as they did in USA. I'm trying to manage her expectations but DD gets very upset when I say this! We've had a difficult couple of years (divorce and a bereavement) and I really would love to be able to take her. I've signed up to Taylor's websites for notifications, but does anyone have any hints/tips on other ways to help get a ticket.... priority websites etc?! Thanks in advance!

I’ve got codes for 4 European cities ! They’re all released at different times on different days, how on earth I am going to get any work done next week…

I just got email and so did OH after registering for London, but not with anything other than further info about ticket sales etc. says we may not hear until 14th July regarding getting access codes or waiting list

I wholeheartedly agree, music events are for the rich and old now. My DD is 12 and I don't really understand it as I was am more a Kooks, Strokes, Blur fan myself but she is desperate to go, I don't even know how to go about getting a ticket, is the only way to register or can you just buy them in a normal way.

I saw so many bands from 15+ that I could afford and didn't sell out like Blue, Pulp etc. I went to Glastonbury for £10 it is a world away from those bringing lentil dahl in their 50s at Glastonbury now. My DS is 16 and wanted to see Blur with his friend but he doesn't want the cheapest seats as not worth going and even they are about £70 so just not accessible.

I have 2 codes out of 5 venues, not a bad ratio!

Did I read somewhere that for Wembley if you get a code you get one for one date , not a choice ?

also with these things , should you refresh or does the site automatically refresh? I don’t mind it chugging along next to me while I work .

They normally automatically refresh. If you do it you lose your place in the queue.

After the overpriced horrible food at Wembley when I saw Harry Styles I've decided to either eat first or chance taking my own next time (the bag checks weren't very thorough) and I ignore all merch. Luckily my DD thinks it's all ugly anyway. 🤣

I got an email...it doesn't have a code....it has info about extra dates....what does that mean?

Yep I have this too, no code email and starting to panic that I added an old out of use Ticketmaster account - although how would I have the AEG email now???

The email states that you will get a further email before midnight next Friday to say if you have been placed on the wait list or have been selected to get a code.

Yes so I’m guessing receiving the new dates email means haven’t been successful in getting a code for general sale of the 1st lot of released dates but still in with a chance to get a code or waitlist for the 2nd lot of released dates

@Grumpigal no the unsuccessful/waiting list email isn’t the same. Uk emails haven’t gone out yet. The one that has gone out is about extra dates and the process

are they easy to sell back, ie if I get Vienna but then also Wembley, I can resell to the agent can’t I?!!!
