Taylor Swift tickets help!

Tickets4teen · 08/06/2023 22:34

My DD (14) is a massive Taylor fan. She is very excited at the thought of her touring UK and is desperate to see her. I've told her it was be very difficult to get tickets and sites will probably crash/sell out in minutes as they did in USA. I'm trying to manage her expectations but DD gets very upset when I say this! We've had a difficult couple of years (divorce and a bereavement) and I really would love to be able to take her. I've signed up to Taylor's websites for notifications, but does anyone have any hints/tips on other ways to help get a ticket.... priority websites etc?! Thanks in advance!

@EineReiseDurchDieZeit I got through at 4 ish and she said they expected to sell out today. There was 98 people in the queue behind me.

Tickets4teen · 21/06/2023 18:56

@Tickets4teen

They are block M8 on the Saturday night.
I've been trying all afternoon and can't believe they had availability left .
The lady I spoke to said Friday had better availability but dd3 is doing A levels next year so we went for the safety of a Saturday.
I'm glad you guys are sorted too.
I hope others have luck.
I'm hoping to have booked an Airbnb just waiting on confirmation as accommodation looks tricky already!

@changer121 So bloody relieved!!! We're block 3. Row 51. I live north of the city....decent train links and not too far to walk from closest station to Anfield....so you could stay a bit further out...some decent hotels in Formby and Crosby which would probably be cheaper than city centre if your AirBnB doesn't work out. However football season finished then so you may get a decent deal in city too.

If there is still availability perhaps I will hear tomorrow? I left my number

changer121 · 21/06/2023 19:37

@EineReiseDurchDieZeit
Have you tried calling again?
It worked for us

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 21/06/2023 19:39

Yes just did, they've closed for the night, possibly overwhelmed

HidingInAForest · 21/06/2023 19:53

So we will be trying the wembly line direct on ticket day due to wanting a companion ticket (anyone ever done that before? Is it worth ringing before the time they open!?)

We're wondering about one of us ringing the wembly line and one of ringing ticket master - what if we get 2 x as many tickets? (Unlikely) Are there ways to resell??

Also phone lines. Do you rung before the time and "queue" or does it literally "open" on the time??

changer121 · 21/06/2023 22:02

@Tickets4teen
Thanks that really helpful info for the accommodation.
We are very familiar with the city centre but not the stadium area.
We are all very relieved tonight !

stillherenow · 21/06/2023 22:29

Wembley ‘cheapest’ hospitality is centre level 2. Anyone know if those are good seats, they look quite far away to me , but it seems
to vary. I don’t mind paying a bit extra as it’s both our big birthdays next year and we’d do this instead of a hol, but don’t want to pay £ for rubbish seats.
that’s if there are any tickets left !

SemiDetachedKittenAsylum · 22/06/2023 08:48

Premier inn website is having a complete thrombie!

Coronado2 · 22/06/2023 09:58

I know it might be too late, but where have people got hospitality tickets from?

changer121 · 22/06/2023 10:11

@Coronado2
We got dds x3 from Liverpool Anfield hospitality .
You have to call - it's on the stadium website and they join you up as a supporter to be able to purchase hospitality.
I got our girls tickets about 5.30 pm yesterday after a long time holding

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 22/06/2023 10:12

They have basically switched the phones off at Anfield so that's it I would say Sad

Coronado2 · 22/06/2023 10:19

Typical, the one day I don't come on mumsnet and I missed that you could get hospitality tickets😥

changer121 · 22/06/2023 10:30

@Coronado2
I'm not sure if it's any help but you can register interest in Wembley hospitality on their website.
Not on sale yet and much more expensive but maybe worth a try?

RabbitsRock · 22/06/2023 11:04

I’m hoping for Wembley ( my DB lives near Birmingham & would drive me & DD14 in) but the cost is concerning. Apparently the prices aren’t released until point of sale?

Pedallleur · 22/06/2023 11:12

re costs think 100 - 1000 upwards. those hospitality ones are approx 300 so £150(?) plus the drinks etc. You need to set your limits. if dynamic pricing is involved you could see your ticket cost rising before your eyes. It did on the Springsteen ones. Until your clicked BUY the cost was moving upwards. Note. artists sign up for this pricing it isnt ticketmaster doing it. they offer it as an option and the artist s management can set the seating prices however they want and see sales in real time

PurpleWalls · 22/06/2023 12:00

Probably a stupid question, but are any of the European concerts going to be easier to get into than others or are there plenty of Swifties in each of the countries? (Feeling desperate!)

stillherenow · 22/06/2023 13:20

Probably as it was much easier to register. However I’m a bit worried about hotels etc looking at what’s happened here !

Tickets4teen · 22/06/2023 14:33

@stillherenow I've got a hotels booked in Amsterdam and Cardiff that I now don't need. If you get tickets in either of these and need a hotel, let me know. I have free cancellation on both of them so I can keep the reservation for now if someone else wants to buy/use them....

Do you have to be a member for the hospitality tickets? At any of the locations?
