Taylor Swift tickets help!

My DD (14) is a massive Taylor fan. She is very excited at the thought of her touring UK and is desperate to see her. I've told her it was be very difficult to get tickets and sites will probably crash/sell out in minutes as they did in USA. I'm trying to manage her expectations but DD gets very upset when I say this! We've had a difficult couple of years (divorce and a bereavement) and I really would love to be able to take her. I've signed up to Taylor's websites for notifications, but does anyone have any hints/tips on other ways to help get a ticket.... priority websites etc?! Thanks in advance!

Yea I saw that but it does also say different events have different configurations so they must have just put more rows in behind ?

It's OK, had a quick look on YouTube at when BTS played and there are people sat in that section then, phew!

@JessieEssex I registered for the hospitality tickets, in case I didn't get any codes for the normal sale (which I didn't). Weirdly I had an email yesterday to say I'd been unsuccessful for the hospitality tickets and then one today to say I could book. I've got a headache with all the dithering as I wasn't prepared at all....

I got the email with link and access code for today's pre-sales for Wembley. When it came to it, I used the link and Ticketmaster said "the account you are using is not the account associated with this invite." I have no other Ticketmaster account. To be on the safe side, I tested the "forgot your password" thing with other email addresses, and each time it said "there is no account associated with this email", so I KNOW I only have one account.

As a result I missed the pre-sales and am more gutted than if I'd never received the code at all.

Were you assigned to AXS ? If that's the case you needed to make a new account with them (My ticketmaster details carried over).

I've seen this situation come up a few times and it's usually because people hadn't realised/made an account for AXS and tried to use their code on ticketmaster.

Oh! I've just got an email now to say I've come off the waiting list for Liverpool, I bet that's because there's only £££££££ hospitality packages left! I'm in the queue to see!

Yeah I've had a few 'You're off the waiting list' emails only to be greeted with the rip off tickets. Even £100 a ticket would a stretch for us with the travel costs but I'd work it out somehow. £600+ is just not viable with the COL crisis right now we're having to tighten belts. Maybe Taylor swift hasn't heard about that?
I feel really disappointed for dd. She is a huge fan.

I don't actually think artists are getting much say in how this is happening, its a racket between promotors and ticket sites, and I expect resistance/backlash to happen pretty soon. I mean it is standard that VIP and Hospitality are expensive thats the whole point of them, it's not really her fault that they are all that's left now, I have to say.

Im happy to pay if it's a justified price but the 'VIP' tickets just have some crappy merch included but are priced hundreds of £'s more than others in the same section without the merch.
I'm hoping something will come up in the resale.

Just an FYI, if you have a code, keep checking as I've just managed to buy two great seats for the August 16th date! I now subsequently have two also pretty great seats for the 22nd June that I will probably sell...or maybe go twice 😬

Was this London? I kept looking for Edinburgh but the only tickets now available are single VIP tickets (none that are 2 together)

Sickening that most haven’t even been given a chance to try! Worst on sale EVER and I’ve been to a lot of concerts!

Yes it was Wembley. I've been checking semi regularly and this was the first time some PL1 tickets appeared together. Just thought it was worth sharing :)

There were still some of the most expensive packages left so I wonder if they don't sell, they may offer them out to general sale?
I am planning on selling my extra tickets but I can't do this yet until AXS release the tickets. There may be a few people who have done similar so you should be able to get some.

@Mumsanetta yes I've seen! You can only sell through AXS so I've put them on there, Wembley 22nd June. 2 tickets priced at the price I paid for them. If you were to look now you'd probably see them :)
