Just seen on Instagram that PS is stepping down with immediate effect from This morning!
I mean, I'm not that bothered but there's been lots of speculation recently re his brother's conviction and the rumoured spat with Holly but I thought it would probably all blow over.
I'm sure he's got a bob or two is loaded but I'm still a bit surprised if I'm honest.

Noted that in her statement holly thanks him for all the kind of things you would say about an in law….. she also left out thanking him for his friendship, kindness and compassion?….. hmmm wonder why ? Not quite the same friendship we witnessed the day he came out on ITV.

So knowing your brother has sexually abused a child but not saying anything is OK? Not bothering to go to the police, just telling him not to do it again, you think that's alright?

How do you know he hid child abuse?

Was there actual proof or is it just rumours?

I’ve never watched TM or any other show that he’s on so I can’t comment on my opinion of him but I would that thought if there was proof he covered up child abuse then he’d be in trouble and/or no one would watch TM or any other programs involving him until he was removed.

Yeah that’s because he had a sexual relationship with a show runner who was a teenager called Matthew mcgreevy.
I thought this was common knowledge?

A friend of mine works on the show. The MM injunction is up in next couple of months. Holly is a massive cow apparently, absolutely vile and very cliquey. She the day he came out you could hear a pin drop on the set and you could cut the atmosphere between HW and PS and Ruth and Eamon with a knife. Ruth is very lovely.

My understanding is his brother confided in him BUT - and this is the crucial bit - he told Phil the boy was 16+ .
He said it was a one off to Phil

So yes very distasteful and gross but legal

Anyway , that's what PS has said so probably a load of shit BUT he 'officially' didn't keep sex abuse secrets

The way I read the statement was that it could have been about him and Holly's relationship breakdown (rather than the other things).

But I wish I knew what to believe and what not to believe.

But I have to say in the This Morning statement Holly was not very effusive about him which I actually think is the most telling thing so far about them. Because I believe that is out of character

Finally. between his own skeletons and his brother - he was toast.

I think Holly knew about his dalliances with very young male employees / apprentices and she should get the boot too. It isn't just the age gap but also taking advantage of the power one holds with regard to making or breaking a career. And on top of that hitting on anyone in the workplace is a risk

That makes more sense.

Hiding /withholding information about child abuse is a crime and there’s no way he’d be allowed to continue working on TM if he had done so.
