Oh and shortest time four months , but I didn't mind, the disturbance allowance came in handy (for Christmas) and it was only round the corner 😁.

TrashPanda · 16/05/2023 21:05

Barrysmintybiscuits · 16/05/2023 21:07

Same as other pp's - my childhood home which I lived in for ~14 years.

As an adult the longest I've lived in one house is 4.5 years

Wednesdaysotherchild · 16/05/2023 21:08

7 years. Mid twenties to early 30s. Moved around lots as a child so over 25 homes in 40 years.

SargentSagittarius · 16/05/2023 21:08

18 years living in my childhood home. My parents have both passed away and my DB and I still own it and use it as a holiday home. Lots of special memories.

Next longest is our current home which we moved into when the DC were small.

Climbingthelaundrymountain · 16/05/2023 21:09

My first home, lived there 13 years.

iusedtobeasize8 · 16/05/2023 21:10

My childhood home. 12 years. From age 7 - 19 when i moved away to go to uni

Musicalmistress · 16/05/2023 21:12

Never longer than 7 years.
When we were young DM always said our DD got '7 year itch' hankered after a new project every few years (he's an architect). Having said that they've been in the latest more than 10 but he's getting older so can't be bothered with the hassle of moving/building/renovating so much these days.
I must have the same gene as I average even less than 7 years & I start getting antsy 🤦🏼‍♀️
