Premium Bonds, what is the most you have ever won?

Interested in the reality of winning a large sum.

I've had bonds for donkeys years but the most on a single bond is £500, last year

£175. DH's highest was £225. I do love checking at the beginning of each month, that exciting few seconds as you click on!

DH got £500 once. I’ve managed £125.

£1000 a couple of years ago. I held about £8k at the time.

The most I've ever won in one go is £175 but I'd say I win £25/£50 around 10 times a year (on £40k holdings).

I won £100 this month and last month. I generally win something, typically £50. I have about £15k in bonds I think.

The thing is it is difficult to judge on just winnings alone, someone who holds 40k in bonds is going t have a much better chance than someone with £500

£250 is my biggest single win on £15k of bonds. Some months are nothing but usually between £25 and £75.

Bugger all. Like a poster above Mum bought a bond for me in 1960's. Nothing so far.

I won £500 this morning on £16k holdings... just had to withdraw a load to pay for building work so my total holdings had gone down and yet I've just won my highest single amount!

I love seeing the high value winners when their holding is around 20 quid from years ago. Like the poster upthread.

I win several times a year but mainly 25s with the odd 50

Does everyone auto re-invest? I took the prizes for years but now auto reinvest to try and build a bit.
