Raffles in Singapore
Casablancas in Liverpool (the one with the chippy in the basement)
The Underground in Croydon

Mine are Hooters in Driffield, The Willow in York (maysherestinpeace), Sister Sara's in Letterkenny, Ireland, and the Hard Rock Cafe in Pattaya, Thailand.

I had many a great night at The Willow in York! Loved the prawn crackers 🤣

@MrsTerryPratchett haven't RFT but I spent many happy nights at Casas in the mid 90s with its legendary chippy and tea bar! What was that cocktail place in town? Kasinskys??

No memory of that whatsoever! Cocktails weren't really my thing though!

The cider challenge is lethal!! Such good fun though. I definitely didn't end up dancing on the tables

I’ve been to The Cumberland Arms many times, don’t think I’ve been to the others though (or not that I remember!)

I’ll add The Stout Fiddler in the same city, which was practically my local for a few years

The tuxedo Princess back when she floated on the Tyne....

It's now rotting in a dock in Middlesbrough. The revolving dance floor was fun, when the tide was out.

The Bobby Shafto, Scotswood - demolished years ago.

The Howlett & Sporting Arms - I think they're still around.

The Robin Adair, Scotswood Road, which burned down in mysterious circumstances, after the dogs were taken off the roof, all the spirits, bandits etc...

The Hydraulic Crane, Brian Johnson (AC DC) used to get in there and bought me drinks a couple of times - now gone.

The Dodds Arms, Elswick - burned down in the riots of 1991.

Did you go in the Barley Mow and Egypt Cottage, too? We used to go in before seeing bands at the Riverside, or trying to get in to be on The Tube.

The Cubist Cafe in Prague
Berghain in Berlin

I've been to the Hi-B many times (I used to live in Cork). Great fun watching the old landlord throwing people's phones out the window! It's also the only place I've been in a full-blown session and sing song at two o'clock on a Tuesday afternoon!
