I'll start. The idea is you name the place and a fellow MNer has to say if they've been there. However, you don't have to wait until you've been somewhere to post. Post your places and you'll meet the MNers who've been there. You can post 1-3 places (random numbers).

I've been to:

Rwanda

Cathedral Grove (Vancouver Island)

I’ve been to Dunedin, Tibet and along the Silk Road.

I have been to pretty much everywhere in NZ except Dunedin for some reason, never had a chance or the will to go

It’s me who is from Donetsk. It is currently relatively safe as it’s been under ru occupation for some time but I think there will inevitably be fighting in the near future.

I don’t mind Pforzheim in Germany but I am biased as I have family in the area. The town itself is nothing special but then there are worse places here in the UK. Having said that, none of my younger cousins wanted to stay there after leaving school and moved to Munich

I'm very envious about posters who have been to Russia. I would love to hear about it! It had always been on my list, but haven't had an easy opportunity to travel there.

Also been to Lviv, Kyiv, Odessa, Moscow and St Petersburg

I've been to Formentera which must be one of the least visited Mediterranean islands due to having no airport.

But I'd be surprised if no one else on MN had been.

@Aphrathestorm - I've been to Formentera. It was about 50 years ago and it was a day trip from Ibiza where we were on our first ever family package holiday.

No. An 3 week overland tour out of Anchorage. We got a ferry from Haines to Skagway as part of that, and camped in Skagway.
I'm still gutted I didn't make it to Juneau.

No one has claimed my 3 (/4): Castaway Island in Fiji, Mopane Camp in the Kruger (South Africa) and Haenertsburg (South Africa. My 4th was Exeter Game Lodge in Sabi Sands Reserve (adjacent to the Kruger).

I also spent an academic year in Bagnols sur Cèze, a wee town to the west of Avignon.

I have Castaway Island. Very pretty it was too.

It was indeed . Only problem was that I was sulking as I didn't want to go back to the UK . And a 15 year old can sulk even better than at 13 (I'd sulked when we arrived in NZ but then I'd made good friends....).

So I couldn't possibly let my parents know that I rather enjoyed the time we spent there
