I actually love it but £15 million???

riskybiznisses · 24/03/2023 09:05

Not my style at all, way too fussy but I love the garden! £15million though!!!

fruitbrewhaha · 24/03/2023 09:05

It must have cost that to build it. All the masonry and wood carving, the hand painted murals etc. I was thinking it must be foreign owned, a sort of pastiche of a national trust house, but then I saw the spitfires dog fighting in the conservatory. It’s all a bit grey.

HappyPumpkin81 · 24/03/2023 09:06

Wow, If only I had an extra £14,999,000.

Bluevelvetsofa · 24/03/2023 09:08

A perfect blend of bad taste and far too much money.

Tinypetunia · 24/03/2023 09:08

It's a bit ornate for me, I prefer modern and clean lines but I can see why lots of people would like it. I doubt it will go for £15 million though. How many people have got that sort of cash?

AdoraBell · 24/03/2023 09:11

Oh I love a bit of tat, I’ll move in pronto 🤣🤣

Dizzywizz · 24/03/2023 09:12

I want stables for that type of money!! And a pool

frazzledasarock · 24/03/2023 09:13

I’m clearly not the target market. All I can think whilst watching the video was how on earth is that going to be kept clean. The cobwebs and dust that will collect along the high walls and corners.

it’s also really dark in the video even with all lights on and the video taken during daytime.

MargaretRiver · 24/03/2023 09:14

15 loos and 11 showers
Perfectly normal home

Username24680 · 24/03/2023 09:14

Definitely not to my taste but it’s an absolute whopper of a house 😳 I applaud anyone that manages to dust and clean a property that ornate 😅

Would love a wine vault though 👏🏼😂

soffa · 24/03/2023 09:14

Well at least they fully committed to their brief! the utility room is giving me morgue vibes though

redspottedmug · 24/03/2023 09:21

I love it, it's giving me Disneyland vibes.

I think if you can afford a £15m house then you can prob afford a couple of full time cleaners

OP posts:
HoneyBeen · 24/03/2023 09:23

I would have to lay in that bath with a flake and lots of bubbles.
Obviously the cleaner would mop up the flooded floor.

Ifailed · 24/03/2023 09:23

How many people have got that sort of cash?

Given the location, a footballer.

ladygindiva · 24/03/2023 09:25

Horrendous. Terrifying and definitely haunted. No way could I live there 😱

I noticed some football boots on display in one of the pictures, so I think you're right.

ZittiEBuoni · 24/03/2023 09:29

I like that fact that a poster called Moderation In Everything likes it Grin.

I wouldn't pay 15 million for it but it's a cracking house. I'd get rid of all the silver crushed velvet, mind.

BeanzToastie · 24/03/2023 09:30

That is completely mad.
Radlett is such a dull and non-descript little dormitory on the edge of Watford. There's nothing there, apart from transport links and posh schools in the vicinity. I'm sure there are nicer places to spend £15m.
George Michael did spend his teenage years in the next street through.

ZittiEBuoni · 24/03/2023 09:30

Footballer sprang to mind here too tbh.

BeanzToastie · 24/03/2023 09:31

It's very close to Arsenal's training ground so could well be a footballer's house, as others have said.

Littlebummybums · 24/03/2023 09:32

Do you have to dress like Professor McGonnagle to live here. There must be an owl lurking about somewhere in those pics.

2023usernameNew · 24/03/2023 09:32

@Dizzywizz that’s what I was thinking, I went through the pics twice thinking I had surely missed the pool.

other than that, I hate all the furniture and wall decorations.

ApolloandDaphne · 24/03/2023 09:33

Well it's a change from the big shiny, grey footballers homes we usually see. I rather like it. I think i need a dedicated wine room. The wine fridge in the garage just isn't cutting it any more.
