Moonicorn I am getting on a bit. I have seen the same panics through the years about immigration, centering on various groups of people. It all dies down after a while as people settle here and contribute to society. This is just the same. In a few years people will look back and wonder what the fuss was about. Except for those people who are not open minded and flexible enough to realise that the make up of our population culturally and racially is and will always be in flux. It always has been.

No. Woman, early 30s, working mum, usually a labour voter but currently politically homeless, strong remainer and would be happy to take virtually any number of child or women refugees from Afghanistan. Not men though.
