How loyalty points rich are you?

So in the real world I'm skint all the time. But I have a habit of saving my points rather than frittering them:

Boots £44
Tesco £75
Waterstones £30 plus 7/10 stamps
Costa 7/8 beans - 1 more for a free drink
MacDonald enough points for a veggie deluxe

I have £56 of boots points. Gonna spend them when I get to £60!

PuttingDownRoots · 26/02/2023 08:38

I have £12 in Asda rewards. I spent most of my cashpot recently

Wow, I keep thinking I'll spend them and then hang on a bit longer. What will you get?

I love Asda for vegan/veggie stuff. Wish we had a near one.

Boots £13
Tesco £11.50 (whenever it gets to £30 we go to pizza express).
Starbucks 350 points + 1 free drink
McDonald's 4500 points

LaRitournelle · 26/02/2023 08:43

I tend to save my boots points up then buy perfume with them.

BeetleyCarapace · 26/02/2023 08:44

I’m working towards a Bootle of scent in Advantage points. I’m at about £48-worth just now so a bit to go. I only really buy toothpaste and contact lens solution at Boots these days so it takes a while.

My local indie coffee shop has a stamp card, I’m two away from a coffee and four off a free croissant.

I’ve got just over a million Avios and two companion vouchers. I’ve just been upgraded to silver on BA executive club which means (I think) I can choose my seat more in advance of my flights or something.

I’ve also got loads of Nectar points I don’t know what to do with. (Mostly from Sainsbos shops and filling up the car.)

Oh and two vouchers for free dry cleaning or clothes alterations at my dry cleaner. She gave them to me partly because loyalty and partly because I stop for a chat and am nice to her.

BeetleyCarapace · 26/02/2023 08:45

A bottle of scent, not a Bootle! 🤦‍♂️

HappyJellyBaby · 26/02/2023 08:46

Watch your Waterstones points, mine expired and I lost £10. Also if your card gets pinched there is very little protection

MIL has about £300 of Nectar points and I can't persuade her to spend them!

OneFrenchEgg · 26/02/2023 08:46

I dont travel much so don't have Avios (is that travel?)
Forgot I also have Clinique and Aveda schemes, will go and check

Boots points are good. You aren’t limited on what you can use them on either. Clarins here I come! I brought my Dyson hairdryer when they had a quadruple points offer and effectively it saved me about £60 from memory which allowed me to buy a nice couple of products from Clairns with a free gift and 10% off.

Shunkleisshiny · 26/02/2023 08:47

Boots £89
One of these days I will spend them!

BeetleyCarapace · 26/02/2023 08:47

@OneFrenchEgg Ooh Aveda <jel face> Their stuff is lovely

Shock ooh I'll check if they have a date. Usually save from Jan to Dec and then use for local school my kid goes to

Oh I also have 9/10 stamps on 3 local soft play loyalty cards - kids will be too old by the time we have qualified for a free go!

Blanketpolicy · 26/02/2023 08:51

Tesco £159

We usually use them for delivery saver, RAC and occasionally some Denby.

The delivery saver is no longer x3 so need to rethink that one.

WalkAwaySugarbear · 26/02/2023 08:52

Boots £10.67
BP £0.21
Nectar £13.96
Co Op £0.51

BramleyAppleHotCrossBun · 26/02/2023 08:55

£70 in nectar points (got a big bonus recently for having insurance through Sainsbury’s).

£12.50 in clubcard.

6/8 costa beans and a saved free drink.

Nearly enough McDonald’s points for chips with a Big Mac… plus a free cheeseburger and I’m not sure where that came from.

Oh and a free pastry in M&S to redeem! Grin

thenewaveragebear1983 · 26/02/2023 08:56

I’ve got about £20 in Tesco club card and £45 in Asda points. Asda points expire as well (I think it’s 6 months?) , I spent some this week because I was worried they’d be lost. I’m saving both for things for my new bathroom- love the new colours of Asda towels!

zero boots points, dh has quite a lot of sainsburys points I think.

Bbq1 · 26/02/2023 08:56

£400 on Sainsbury's loyalty card.

Mol1628 · 26/02/2023 08:58

We’ve just paid for a trip to longleat for four of us and two nights in a b&m nearby with our club card vouchers.

Im voucher poor again now!

Mol1628 · 26/02/2023 08:59

B&B not b&m!

OneFrenchEgg · 26/02/2023 09:05

Haha voucher poor! It's a little buzz to get free stuff!

Just checked my Aveda account as I stopped buying stuff (cr always skint) and had enough to to redeem against a set of hand/foot cream, so did that. Amazing! Also bought a trial size of cleanser as it looked nice and my mum always wants ideas for Xmas/birthday gifts so I can send her their way if it's good.

£38 in nectar points, I’m planning on buying a new dinner set with them which is £40 so hopefully will get it in a few weeks.

£5 on my Waterstones card and a few quid on my Advantage card.
