And if so how long have you been married? Will you ever replace them or take them down?

We have one, a picture of the two of us. We’ll have been married 10 years this summer. I’m not sure we’ll ever take it down, certainly not something we actively think about.

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 04/02/2023 21:18

Yes. Is that weird? Been married 19 years.

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 04/02/2023 21:19

There's only one and it's a normal size if that makes a difference

No ! Only ever had a fairly modest one 'on display' ... I never liked it much but DH did - although it was only in our rarely used dining room - took it down when we redecorated a couple of years ago and never put it back up .. DH has not noticed Grin. Married 35 years.

Slimjimtobe · 04/02/2023 21:20

Yes 12 years
surely you keep them up forever 🤨

No1Zero · 04/02/2023 21:21

I've not been married so I can't contribute. I just went to a new friends house who had some beautiful pictures of their wedding up and it just got me thinking. I've never noticed it before in other people's homes. They've only been married a short while so I wondered if it changes over time.

We have one in a frame on a shelf, have never had any on the wall, I’m not a fan of big photos on walls of myself in general.

We’ve been married 10 years.

PritiPatelsMaker · 04/02/2023 21:23

We have one small one up. Been married 20 years.

FuckoffeeBeforeCoffee · 04/02/2023 21:24

We've been married 9 years and I do not own a single wedding photo, let alone have any up in the house!

mnahmnah · 04/02/2023 21:24

We have a medium sized one of us walking back down the aisle, on a shelf in the living room. 12 years married.

Arrrrrrragghhh · 04/02/2023 21:25

One in the bedroom one pinned up on a family board type thing. Married 5 years together 19.

Nagado · 04/02/2023 21:25

We’ve been married ten years and have got quite a few up. They’re all very informal, non posed photos of our loved ones looking brilliant and having a good time, and pictures of us having the best day ever. I’ll add more recent pictures to them, but can’t imagine taking them down.

Floralnomad · 04/02/2023 21:25

No , been married 33 yrs , we did have one in a cabinet for a few years but we had a declutter and got rid of all the ‘clutter cabinets’ .

MaverickGooseGoose · 04/02/2023 21:25

One on the mantle in our bedroom, married 16 years.

The ridiculously overpriced album is under the bed and hasn't been looked at in 16 years.

Billoddiesbeard · 04/02/2023 21:27

Yes, two normal size photos of the two of us in a frame; one from our wedding day and one of the two of us taken at our wedding venue (destination wedding) when we revisited last year to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.🤵👰

FenghuangHoyan · 04/02/2023 21:27

Yes. Just the one "proper one" out, but all of them on Echo Shows.

Perennis · 04/02/2023 21:28

I never had one up at all, but then I think all family photos are a bit cheesy.

FunkyMonks · 04/02/2023 21:29

Yes still have a few up in those multi picture frames in our bedroom not just of us but wedding guests etc.
I also don't want to take them down as sadly we have lost a few loved ones over the years and they are in those photos so would feel bad taking them down now.
Will have been married for 7 years this summer.

makingarunforit · 04/02/2023 21:29

We've been married 14 years and have three in the lounge. We're very happily married though and had a wonderful day and I smile every time I look at them.

lurcherlove · 04/02/2023 21:30

Yes we have several, one or two of us together but lots of friends and family. It was the best day ever, and we won't be having children. The shots are all "candid" documentary style and everyone looks lovely and happy.

lurcherlove · 04/02/2023 21:31

Oh yes, we've been married 6 months but together for 12 years!

Veryfishy · 04/02/2023 21:33

A candid one of the two of us in a small frame on my dressing table
Married nearly 30 years

Yarrawonga · 04/02/2023 21:34

Yes. Thirteen years. They still make me smile.

ranoutofquinoaandprosecco · 04/02/2023 21:34

1 ten years, think the kid like it.

00deed1988 · 04/02/2023 21:35
