And if so how long have you been married? Will you ever replace them or take them down?

Married 10 years. One photo in a frame on the coffee table in the lounge. Another on the wall in the dining room. Don’t intend to ever take them down. Totally normal in my circles.

DramaAlpaca · 04/02/2023 23:41

Yes, just the one. Married nearly 33 years.

Whoknowswhatanymore · 04/02/2023 23:42

Been married 16 years and still have ours up and it won’t be coming down anytime soon! Happy memories and good for children to see.

We have one up, 5x7 in a frame on a shelf amongst other photos, not a posed professional photo but it makes us smile as it's quite funny. Been married 11 years.

PlaitBilledDuckyPuss · 04/02/2023 23:44

Yes - a group photo and one of the two of us, on the bookshelf in our living room. Married 18 years.

winnieanddaisy · 04/02/2023 23:47

I have a small black and white wedding photo in a frame in my bedroom. We would have been married for 50 years last September but I was widowed over 15 years ago . I miss him .

Franticbutterfly · 04/02/2023 23:49

We don't have any up. There was a small one in a frame once but I smashed it when he cheated.

Ineedwinenow · 04/02/2023 23:52

Nope, and embarrassingly we have no idea where our wedding album is! It’s either in the loft, garage or shed! If it’s the latter two the mice probably have had a look through them though Grin

Ineedwinenow · 04/02/2023 23:53

Should add we’ve been married for 13 years and together 15! We probably haven’t seen the photos for 13.5 years Confused

Ineedwinenow · 04/02/2023 23:54

12.5 years not 13.5 Bloody iPhones!!

Eskimokid · 04/02/2023 23:56

We have an album. I've never understood putting photos up of ourselves in our own house. Don't have any of our toddler up either but we do have 1 of each of the GPs with him.

Eskimokid · 04/02/2023 23:57

Married nearly 4 years, together nearly 10.

Vicliz24 · 05/02/2023 00:26

Not of our actual wedding but we do have one 7x5 of our vow renewal by Elvis in Vegas just because it makes us smile .

DillDanding · 05/02/2023 00:34

No and never did.

My parents used to have a framed photo of each daughter’s (4) wedding, plus the cringe graduation photos. Then that went onto grandkids’ school photos and then their graduations! My poor parents - had to accept them whilst probably thinking ‘another fucking photo to display’.

I think it’s somewhat naff nowadays. We’re really not the type to have framed photos on surfaces.

Copasetic · 05/02/2023 00:38

We have been married 32 years. We did for years but then it fell and the frame broke. I have never bothered to reframe it.

IclimbedSnowdon · 05/02/2023 01:06

Married 42yrs this summer. Yes we have a photo plate which was a present from mil on a dresser in the kitchen.

MrsClatterbuck · 05/02/2023 01:17

I have the album but no pictures up. My dm used to complain that I hadn't given her any. Tbh none of my friends had any on their wall except for one couple but they took it down years ago. One of my sil has photos of her kids weddings on her living room wall and so did my mil except for ours. Married 34 years

AlwaysLatte · 05/02/2023 01:23

Yes. Married 18 years this year. We'll always have them out! We also look through the albums occasionally.

familyissues12345 · 05/02/2023 01:26

We have two - a larger one that we had professionally framed, and a 5x7 of DH and I with DS1 at the signing the register table. Both about the only photos of me that I like!

MajorCarolDanvers · 05/02/2023 01:31

I have never had them 'up'

I have one picture in a dresser in our bedroom. The other rest are in an album somewhere.

Married 19 years. Together 24 years.

Catkin51 · 05/02/2023 01:36

We have one ending photo amidst a collection of other family photos. Married 44 years.

Quitelikeacatslife · 05/02/2023 03:53

Yes a 10x8 one and a couple of smaller pics of casual shots of couple of family members on the day around the house in places . But not plastered everywhere. Sone people do though, they get married and have huge wall full of canvases of wedding shots, they are probably the same type who will have huge wall of canvases of first new born which then look odd as child grows up or they have another. It's like some people can't envisage the passing of time.
But if I had chosen a sensible sized wedding pic I wouldn't take it down

Hups · 05/02/2023 04:26

Yes, I have one in the lounge and one on my dressing table.
Been married just over 40 years.

Buttalapasta · 05/02/2023 06:32

Yes, one of us and one of a family group. Just normal sized on a shelf. I also have my grandparents' wedding up too. 19 years for us. Would have been 80 for them.

DinosApple · 05/02/2023 06:48

Yes there's four small ones dotted about. Married 15 years this year.
One with MIL who died a few years ago, one of us cutting the cake, one in a multi frame in the kitchen and one of just me in DH's study. They are all scattered in the bookshelves.

We're not vain at all, so it's nice to see evidence that we scrubbed up well once upon a time!
