In think you are being terribly unfair. How was Boris supposed to know that appointing someone who is giving him money is not allowed. The poor Boris doesn't even know when he is at his own birthday party.

What interests me in those threads is that nobody seems to acknowledge that we've had 13 years of Conservative government. The state of the country (good and bad) isn't due to woke or left leaning policies - it's down to the Government they keep voting for.

@jgw1 You make a fair point. Now I feel bad for being so judgmental of Mr Johnson who was after all, very busy having to deal with fickle ethics advisors flouncing off in a huff over nothing.
